O presente estudo buscou contribuir para esta discussão, verificando, com base em regressão de dados em painel, os efeitos das possíveis variáveis afetadas pela mudança climática sobre a produtividade agrícola dos principais cultivos permanentes em Pernambuco (coco, uva, manga e banana). Os resultados encontrados indicam que não apenas o aumento na temperatura máxima das localidades, mas também mudanças em outras possíveis variáveis afetadas pelo aquecimento global terão um impacto direto sobre a produtividade desses cultivos no cenário pernambucano. Estas implicações podem ser extremamente negativas para o crescimento da economia de Pernambuco, dada a importância desta atividade no cenário econômico e social. / Understand the real consequences of global warming on agricultural activity is extremely important to mitigate its adverse impacts and maximize positive impacts. The present study intent to contribute to this discussion checking the effects of the possible variables affected by climate change on the agricultural productivity of the main permanent crops in Pernambuco (coconut, grape, mango and banana) using panel data regression. The results suggest that the increase in the maximum temperature of the localities, as well as changes in other possible variables affected by global warming, will have a direct impact on the productivity of these crops in Pernambuco. These implications can be extremely negative for economic growth, given the importance of this activity to Pernambuco’s economic and social scenario.
