Estudo de revestimentos inorg?nicos com inibidor de corros?o aplicado na superf?cie do concreto

With the objective to prevent the process development, or even, retard its beginning, it was studied the application of inorganic covering over concrete surfaces, after its cure, as well as, evaluate the efficiency of the covering applied on the concrete in reducing its porosity of concrete preventing the entrance of aggressive agents to preserve the integrity of the existing armor inside it, comparing the result obtained with the body-of-proof reference, that didn?t receive covering protection. On the concrete production it was used Portland Cement CP II 32, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and water from the local distributive. Two types of covering were used, one resin based of silicon and solvent and other white cement based, selected sands and acrylic resin. The concrete mixture adopted was 1:1,5:2,5 (cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate) and 0.50 water/cement ratio. With the concrete on fresh state was made the experiment test to determinate the workability. On the hardened state was made the concrete resistance experiment, absorption of water and electrochemical experiments, through polarization curves. Also was held optical microscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy experiments to analyze the layer of the covering applied to the concrete surface and the interface between the concrete and the layer. The obtained results shows that the covering applied to the concrete surface didn?t affect the resistance towards compression. On the absorption of water occurred a diminution of the percentage absorbed, improving the concrete development by making it more impermeable towards the entrance of aggressive agents. The electrochemical experiment results confirmed the water absorption results; the body-of-proof covered presented larger protection towards the development of corrosives process and retarded the evolution of the corrosive phenomenon / O fen?meno de corros?o em estruturas de concreto armado ? uma das patologias mais encontradas em ?reas litor?neas. Com o objetivo de impedir que o processo se desenvolva ou mesmo retardar o seu in?cio, estudou-se a aplica??o de revestimentos inorg?nicos sobre a superf?cie do concreto, ap?s sua cura, bem como, foi avaliado a efici?ncia dos revestimentos aplicados a superf?cie do concreto em reduzir a sua porosidade, impedindo a entrada dos agentes agressivos para preservar a integridade da armadura existente no seu interior, comparando o resultado obtido com corpos-de-prova refer?ncia, que n?o receberam nenhum revestimento de prote??o. Na produ??o do concreto utilizou-se o Cimento Portland CP II F 32, agregado gra?do, agregado mi?do e ?gua da concession?ria local. Como revestimentos foram utilizados dois tipos, um ? base de resina de silicone e solvente e o outro, ? base de cimento branco, areias selecionadas e resina acr?lica. O tra?o adotado para o estudo foi 1:1,5:2,5 (cimento, areia e brita) e rela??o a/c = 0,50. Com o concreto no estado fresco, realizou-se o ensaio de abatimento de tronco de cone para determina??o da trabalhabilidade. J? no estado endurecido, realizou-se o ensaio de resist?ncia ? compress?o, absor??o de ?gua e os ensaios eletroqu?micos, atrav?s de curvas de polariza??o. Tamb?m foram realizados ensaios de Microscopia ?ptica e Microscopia Eletr?nica de Varredura para an?lise da camada de revestimento aplicada ? superf?cie do concreto e a interface entre o concreto e a camada. Os resultados obtidos mostram que os revestimentos aplicados ? superf?cie do concreto n?o afetaram a resist?ncia ? compress?o. J? em rela??o ? absor??o de ?gua houve uma diminui??o do percentual absorvido, melhorando o desempenho do concreto por torn?-lo mais imperme?vel ? entrada dos agentes agressivos. Os resultados dos ensaios eletroqu?micos confirmaram o resultado do ensaio de absor??o de ?gua; os CP?s revestidos apresentaram uma maior prote??o ao desenvolvimento de processos corrosivos e retardaram a evolu??o do fen?meno de corros?o
