Informační toky projektového řízení zakázkové výroby v kooperaci dvou firem / Information flows custom manufacturing project management in cooperation of two companies

Maule, Lukáš January 2015 (has links)
The thesis is focused on system design of information flows. These flows contribute to coordination of transmission of orders between companies Melecs ETS s.r.o. and Melecs SWL GmbH & CO KG. In the theoretical part are included theories of production management of custom manufacturing, project management, information flows and business process modeling. In the practical part is characterized company Melecs ETS s.r.o. The analytical part contains an analysis of the information flows and documentation of orders and production process. The outcomes represent the bottlenecks in the information flows and their causes. Based on the analysis of flows and their bottlenecks is designed the standardized system of information flows in orders transmission.

Nekonvenční technologie laserového řezání / Unconventional Technology of Laser Cutting

Indra, Jaroslav January 2011 (has links)
The thesis deals with the technology of laser cutting. The beginning is concerned with a general description of laser technology and laser division into basic groups. Next part refers to possible industrial use of laser beam, especially for cutting. Other chapters deal with the components suitable for the manufacture of this technology, technical preparation of production and the proposal to increase manufacturing flexibility when changing products. The last part is devoted to technical and economic evaluation.

Exploring The Efficiency – Flexibility Dilemma Of A Manual Assembly Process

Ohlsson, Elin January 2019 (has links)
The purpose of this study was to find a method for exploring the potential of increasing the efficiency of a manual manufacturing process while simultaneously maintaining the flexibility and the ability to adjust to changes in demand. The study has been conducted in cooperation with Scania CV AB Engine Assembly in Södertälje, Sweden. This explorative study has been conducted using a framework mixing traditional Quality and Process Management literature, with theories of Innovation Management and ways of designing a production process. The framework was designed by focusing on perspectives to help explain and optimize the dynamics of a manual assembly process characterized by high variation. Increasing the efficiency has included the elimination of waste and disturbances while creating opportunities for continuous improvement. Improving the ability to adjust to changes in demand and volume has included reorganization of the information flow. Activities aimed at increasing the efficiency and improving flexibility requires a base of information which is sufficient and enables fact-based decision-making. An analysis of the current state was conducted using triangulation of data collection methods. Interviews, observations, focus groups, surveys, and numeric data was analyzed. Tools of Quality Management, Lean Management, and the Productivity Potential Assessment method were used to develop a framework for evaluating a manual production process and aim to collect, process, compile, weigh, prioritize, and visualize the processes and the identified challenges. Identification of improvement activities and the design of a future state was conducted through extensive interviews and focus groups and by interpreting relevant literature. Mapping of the current state generated five primary challenges which are complicating the daily work in different ways. The challenge estimated to have the highest overall impact on the studied process is Time Data Management. This challenge refers to the lack of valid and correct data on which to accurately plan and control the process.

Recomendações para a implementação de conceitos e técnicas de produção enxuta em empresas, fabricantes de produtos sob encomenda, do aglomerado industrial de Sertãozinho / Recommendations for the implementation of concepts and techniques of lean manufacturing in companies with high-mix/low-volume production environment of the industrial cluster of Sertãozinho

Lillian do Nascimento Gambi 17 February 2011 (has links)
The concepts and techniques of lean production have been applied in an ever more comprehensive by organizations around the world. Most applications have been to high volume, and relatively standardized products. However, the lean production can be applied in other production environments, it is important to understand its concepts and techniques and adapt them to particular conditions of each company. This paper proposes recommendations for the implementation of concepts and techniques of lean production in companies of an industrial cluster. These companies have a production environment characterized by a high-variety and low volume items; characteristics that contribute to a disbelief about the potential benefits that this implementation can provide in improving the performance of these companies. The aim of this work is to show the applicability and benefits of lean production in this environment. The recommendations were elaborated by reviewing the literature about lean production and case studies in companies of the industrial cluster of Sertãozinho. The recommendations proposed were legitimized by subject matter experts and employees of the companies studied. The results show the concepts and techniques of lean production can be successfully implemented in a high-variety/low-volume context resulting in benefits to companies, and the low level of implementation in this environment is mainly related to organizational issues.
