Abstract Due to the change of the times, the medical environment in Taiwan has adapted the mainstream of ¡§patient-centered¡¨ concept. It seems to become a slogan for all medical practitioners. However, little has really changed despite lip service paid to the process of medical improvement. The author has been treating patients with kidney failure for almost twenty years. As being a nephrologist, he realizes that the quality of medical care, the quality of life and the mortality rate are highly related to the length of going on hemodialysis for uremic patients. It means the longer a uremic patient goes on hemodialysis, the lower uremic toxin level and the better quality of life a patient can receive. However, due to the limitation of arranging schedule for all of the medical staff at hospitals, many uremic patients can not have enough delivered dialysis doses they need. By re-scheduling hospital staff¡¦s working hours, uremic patients¡¦needs can be easily met in order to achieve the truly ¡§one-by-one¡¨customized service. It seems to move a step closer to the concept of¡§patient-centered¡¨ service. In Taiwan, the current health insurance system, the total payment clause, and the increasing medical cost seem to play a crucial part in running hospitals. We can avoid causing medical accidence by providing sensible working hours and duties to hospital staff. After carrying out the customized working schedule, the hospital management has successfully reduced the working hours of all staff. It definitely creates a win-win situation for the hospital management and employees. This study is mainly observative, descriptive, cross-sectional, observing the connection and influence of personal and environmental factors on (1) the satisfactory degree of uremic patients, (2) the criterion of the quality of medical treatment¡X(A) the mortality rate of uremic patients (B) the index of KT/V and Albumin, HCT (C) the infection rate (D) the possibility of unpredictable in-hospital accidents¡X(3) potential uremic patients; CKD the chronic uremic patients¡¦ satisfaction (4) the satisfactory degree of nurses. This is a retrospective study, comparing the difference between before and after executing the customized schedule. It focus on the two periods¡X(1) From Jan. to April, 2001 (2) From Jan. to April, 2007 to find out the difference by looking at four variances¡X(A) Nursing hours (B) Mortality rate (C) Accidental rate (D) Job-quitting rate of nurses. To verify the workability and result of this system, we compare the difference between Kaohsiung Armed Forces General Hospital and a private dialysis clinic in Kaohsiung by analyzing the result of questionnaires. The finding shows that there has been a significant improvement on patients¡¦ satisfaction and the quality of medical treatment after carrying out the customized schedule. It¡¦s an undeniable social responsibility to all doctors and nurses to prevent even cure diseases. Taiwan has already had the highest rate of kidney failure around the world; therefore, the customized schedule can save time and manpower to provide better care to chronic kidney disease patients. Moreover, it can also make uremic patients suffer less while going on dialysis or delay the timing for patients going on dialysis. To cope with the current increase in both competition and customer requirements, traditional construction enterprises need more efficient methods to manage their relationships with customers. From the recession of Taiwan in recent years¡Atraditional construction industry needing to transform and escalate is no longer a empty verbiage. The construction industry has huge market potential undiscovered. Analyzing the information returned from customers and products, business can provide active and accurate services to the right customers through the right ways at the right time and raise the customers satisfaction. As the importance of CRM pertaining to management of relationships with customers has been recognized, meanwhile, with regard to implementation of the extensive software which involves investment of massive human resources, capital, and time, many critical decisions still need to be concerned. This research aims at extracting relevant factors affecting the adoption process and proposes a convincing framework verified by an empirical case study. Induction is used in the research. The first hand data are gathered through interviewing and circulating the questionnaire. After summing up this information and other relative articles and analyzing them with descriptive statistics, the result is derived and the conclusions are made according to the objective and frame of the study. The conclusions of this research are¡G (1)CRM is very important to the management. (2)Home Renovation should carry out the standard procedure of service to create customer value and to gain competitive advantage. (3) Home Renovation should emphasize on the collecting of the information of customers and looking for the best niche that can generate more profit on house repairing. (4) Customers expect to have professional Home Renovation team to run this market and offer high quality service. (5) The employees on first line play a very important role on building the relationship with the customers. (6) Home Renovation should follow the plan step by step to phase in the CRM. It only works when you really fulfill the plan and correct it timely. Some advice is offered in this research report, such as recommending that the government should build a safety system on all buildings and should make emphasis on the concept of house repairing and diagnosing. Home Renovation should know for sure what benefits that CRM will bring. Basically we can apply this research report to the real practice. When facing virtual problems in business operation, we can turn them in to management problems and then transform them into the themes for research and find out the solutions through scientific ways. Secure Management System for UPnP Digital Home Network

Lu, Yu-Chun 16 August 2010 (has links)
The rapid development in wireless network technology, together with the extensive progress in the digital home hardware and software, have allowed every family to enjoy the conveniences of these new technologies. In particular, the UPnP network technologies link various digital home devices together, coming alone with seamless connection and configuration-less environment. These benefits make it very easy for users to enjoy their digital home devices. However, related security issues have begun to surface one after another. Under a UPnP network environment, users¡¦ identity are not distinguished and therefore, they can not authorize the usage of those devices, services and content. Devices with similar types of service and content lack of integration, it is inconvenient when users need to search or access. In addition, there seems to be a lack of proper handling mechanisms when these devices, services, and content encounter anomaly problems and errors. Lastly, family users will also inevitably have connection requirements between homes but unfortunately, the current UPnP network environment is unable to provide convenient and secured home-to-home content exchange mechanisms. To address the issues mentioned above, this study surveyed the UPnP network environment from a fresh perspective. And through virtual resources, central control network framework and fault tolerance design, it further provides abilities to do related resource authentication, authorization, auditing, and fault handling. It also uses PKI framework to provide the authentication and secure connection between homes. Lastly, we designed and implemented a secure Management System for a UPnP digital home network. It provides secure and convenient home network environment that is compatible with UPnP/UPnP AV standards. On the user¡¦s control aspect, we provided user authentication, authorization, and auditing functionalities. On the home resource management aspect, we provided networks, devices, services, and content which can be controlled and managed. And we also provide integrated and customized entries for service and content. We have a management system with smart and user friendly features. On the anomaly management aspect, we provide fault detection, handling, and basic fault tolerance mechanism. Lastly, we provide trusted homes mechanism, supporting secure user roaming outside their homes, allowing content sharing between trusted homes, and ensuring that users roaming in other locations may still access specific content in their homes.
