The aim of this thesis is to describe thoroughly the way Czech museums of art are using the principles of marketing communications nowadays. Theoretical part of the thesis presents brief history of modern museums worldwide as well as in the Czech Republic (with special stress on the network of regional galleries being founded in the second half of the 20th century. It also presents bases of museum marketing and the elements of integrated marketing concept applied on galleries. Terms of branding and fundraising are mentioned as well. The research part of the thesis contains the results of questionnaire survey among 10 representatives of Czech regional galleries. Each of the included museums of art is introduced with emphasis on their ways of using marketing communications principles. Automotive industry as a factor of regional competitiveness in the Czech Republic / Automobilový průmysl jako faktor regionální konkurenceschopnosti v České republiceRejka, Martin January 2015 (has links)
The automotive industry is one of the most important industries in the Czech Republic. This diploma thesis identifies its main characteristics and assesses its impact on regional competitiveness. The hypothesis tested in the practical section of this thesis is that suppliers producing high value-added products contribute to regional competitiveness more than suppliers of simple products. A review of relevant theories provides a sound reasoning to support this hypothesis. An analysis of available data from the Czech Republic, however, leads to a rejection of this hypothesis as the results from the practical part signalise that in the Czech Republic the impact of suppliers of simple products is higher than the impact of high value-added suppliers.

Obstrukce v českém legislativním procesu / Obstructionism in Czech Legislative ProcessKubný, Adam January 2014 (has links)
This Diploma Thesis deals with obstructions within the legislative process of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, more precisely in hearings at the Lower House. The aim of the thesis is to describe the phenomenon of obstructions and their importance in the legislative process. In the beginning, the author establishes three basic research questions, which he then tries to answer through quantitative methods. Firstly, the author answers the question whether either site of the ideological spectrum tends to use the tactic of obstruction more often. Secondly, he inquires whether there are any differences between the obstructions of a right-wing or a left-wing party. Finally, the author aims to clarify if the long-established parties in the Chamber of Deputies have an advantage in the practice of obstructions and thus are more successful in it than new parties are. The text is divided into three separate chapters with a logical structure starting from theoretical themes and continuing with an empirical analysis. The first part, which is purely theoretical, is followed by a chapter dealing with the legislative process which can be considered as a transition between the theoretical and empirical parts. The following chapter is based on empiricism and analyses stenographic records and interviews with the representatives of political parties. The carried out analyses suggest that it is impossible to state clearly which site of the ideological spectrum tends to use the tactic of obstruction more often, as in the majority of cases parties using this tactic find themselves in the opposition. However, while obstructing, both left-wing and right-wing parties use almost identical tools. Ultimately, it can be stated that parties represented in the House of Deputies for a long period are not more successful in practicing obstructions than other parties, even though they use strategies that are more sophisticated.

Vliv teritoriality soudních exekutorů na vymahatelnost pohledávek, délku vymáhání a další aspekty exekučního řízení / The effect of bailiff territoriality on the reclamation of receivables, the length of debt recovery and other aspects of court-ordered distraintsPlaček, Jan January 2015 (has links)
The area of individual reclamation of receivables in the form of court-ordered distraints has undergone significant changes since the year 2000. The initial practice, when the claims used to be enforced directly by judicial officers, proved to be largely ineffective and with difficult to apply. The Ministry of Justice has responded by adopting an amendment to the Act (Act no. 120/2001 Coll., on bailiffs and executor activities), which introduced the independent bailiff offices. Then, the law itself understood the bailiff authorities as a separate entrepreneurs. Currently, in the Czech Republic, there can be seen the distribution of the market with distraints according to the Pareto rule. Approximately 20% of bailiff offices manage over 80% of distraints. It is obvious that this is an unsatisfactory condition for the majority of bailiff offices. In response to this fact, the Czech Chamber of Bailiff offices calls for the introduction of territoriality, which would eliminate by law the market environment from the market with distraints and every single bailiff office would have a stable allocation of distraint proceedings. The analysis carried out clearly shows that there are significant differences between bailiff offices in terms of speed and in success of the debt recovery. The actual demand for the introduction of territoriality would not merely be a reallocation of the market with distraints. Putting it into a practice would greatly influence the transactional costs of business and non-business entities in the Czech economy. The thesis comprehensively describes the issue of territoriality and quantifies how much the debt collection will decrease in case of its introduction. In the conclusion, an alternative draft is formulated, which might, according to the author, allow effective regulation and supervision of the activities of bailiffs' offices without compromising the inherent efficiency of the reclamation of receivables in terms of market environment.
