Its objective was to investigate the perspective of the brincante making for movement creation, as a process of dance learning. For that, I performed an investigation about the term brincante, present in part of the popular dances studies, to consider their makings as ways of participating in the popular festivities. Having this “brincante” making as starting point, I analysed the notions of aesthetic experience and body perception of the individual who dances surrounded by the cultural circumstances of the festivity. The aesthetic experience is, here, the possibility of opening to this moment and, also, what allows to approximate the festive event to the notion of learning. In order to evidence the means of interaction between the individual and the space, I articulate theories concerning sensory perceptions, which involve somatic practice and the concept of learning. To develop such investigation, I made a theoretical research through a reflexive analysis of blibliographic references, articulated with registers which emerged from my experiences as an apprentice in three popular festivities: a carnival cortege, a Jongo festivitity and a Maçambique procession. The articulation among popular dance, brincante, aesthetic experience and somatic perception allowed to expand the meanings of learning and oriented the discussion to the dimension of dance learning, which implies creating movements and organizing the body from the relations involved in participating of the popular festivity.

Umann, Jair Felipe Bonatto January 2007 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2013-08-07T18:49:40Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 000399730-Texto+Completo-0.pdf: 2007404 bytes, checksum: 3347692990edfc688f0711bc0a5adc8a (MD5) Previous issue date: 2007 / Given the necessity of urgent changes towards a harmonic human life and the harmony between human beings and planet Earth, this thesis aims at suggesting hints for the construction of a methodology for the academic teaching of Brazilian popular dances under a transdisciplinary perspective. Starting with diverse methodological sources of inspiration the author proposes a harmonic combination of Science, Art, Philosophy and Traditions, highlighting the urgency regarding a change in the teaching process of popular dances. In addition to this, the author calls the attention to the necessity of a bigger academic appreciation of Brazilian popular culture. Based on literature, in interviews with masters of popular culture and his experiences as a researcher and a dance teacher, the author points to the diversity in the building of Brazil’s culture, highlights some arguable aspects regarding the way Brazilian academic teaching is structured and presents transdisciplinarity as an important alternative to the construction of a more human society. Thus, the biggest challenge proposed by the author is how the teaching of Brazilian popular dances at the university under a transdisciplinary perspective can contribute towards human development in its entirety.

Hoffmann, Carmen Anita January 2015 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2015-04-30T14:05:52Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 000467134-Texto+Completo-0.pdf: 4820364 bytes, checksum: 6d8a8dcc4238b66c93652fe128238568 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015 / This research aims to analyze and understand the institutional background of Dance Course – Full Degree, from the University of Cruz Alta, here named Course of Dance UNICRUZ (1998-2010), from the project of its founders to the speeches of its final protagonists, bringing subsidies for reflections on the historical and social context as to its existence. It presents the historical process, pioneering, integration and relevance for the State of Rio Grande do Sul, especially regarding to the professionalization of dance activity. It attents, also, to the trajectory of the Course - the context of its creation, implementation, recognition, leadership and discontinuity – discussing about the academical graduation in Dance in Brazil. The research is characterized as qualitative and adopts the methodology of oral history, especially the semi-structured interviews, which were conducted between July and October 2014. There were also collected various documents, such as minutes, ordinances, brochures, newspaper clippings and photographic images. This is, therefore, a study of memories of former exteachers, ex-students and people who were involved with the Course of Dance UNICRUZ. In addition to the reconstruction of the history of this course, the research was interested in the senses and meanings attributed by respondents to their experiences in this space, in the ways in composing their memories, the memories and forgetfulness that they actively built when instigated, provoked, mobilized by their memories, when narrating them during the interviews. Thus the Dance Course was subject and theme of the speeches and, these, in turn, the threads of the plot of this study. The work followed and analyzed the three phases of the Course: its creation, its consolidation and its consequences. Although the Course has been consolidated and contributed to advances in dance studies in Rio Grande do Sul, in 2010 formed its last group. These events do not annihilate the Course, they make it intelligible when we notice the relationship of a Course with its time. The analysis of the memories gave the possibility to evaluate that the course followed a trajectory depending on the conditions of the context in which it was developed. The history of the Course of Dance UNICRUZ represents a milestone in the history of the academical degree in Dance in Rio Grande do Sul, as since its creation, there were settled seven other courses in the State.
