The guanylin peptides are related to sodium absorption inhibition and water secretion induction. Uroguanylin may be related to various pathologies such as chronic renal failure, congestive heart failure and nephrotic syndrome. Uroguanylin mutations have already been associated with essential hypertension. However, there are no studies on the structural changes in the uroguanylin???s protein that used single nucleotide polymorphisms through the use of molecular dynamics simulations. This study used 16 in silico SNP impact prediction tools to evaluate non synonymous SNPs and to select mutations considered as convergent deleterious, which were further analyzed through long time molecular dynamics simulations of 1 microsecond of duration. The results of the molecular dynamics simulations suggest that all SNPs considered as convergent deleterious suffered some kind of structural change, however, four of these nsSNPs have also undergone flexibility changes, possibly resulting in functional changes. / O ativador guanilato ciclase 2B, tamb??m conhecido como uroguanilina, faz parte da fam??lia de pept??deos da guanilina, a qual inclui pept??deos como a guanilina e a linfoguanilina. Os pept??deos da guanilina est??o ligados ?? inibi????o da absor????o de s??dio e indu????o da secre????o de ??gua. A disfun????o da uroguanilina est?? relacionada ao desenvolvimento de v??rias patologias, como insufici??ncia renal cr??nica, insufici??ncia card??aca congestiva e s??ndrome nefr??tica. Muta????es na uroguanilina tamb??m j?? foram associadas ?? hipertens??o essencial. Entretanto, n??o existem estudos sobre a utiliza????o de simula????es por din??mica molecular para avaliar o impacto estrutural causado por nsSNPs presentes no gene codificador da prote??na uroguanilina. Este estudo utilizou 16 ferramentas in silico de predi????o de impacto de nsSNPs para filtrar nsSNPs convergentes delet??rios para posterior an??lise por simula????es por din??mica molecular de longa dura????o (1 microssegundo de dura????o). Os resultados das simula????es por din??mica molecular sugerem que todos os nsSNPs considerados como convergentes delet??rios sofreram algum tipo de altera????o estrutural, por??m, quatro destes SNPs tamb??m sofreram altera????es de flexibilidade, possivelmente resultando em altera????es funcionais.

A nitretação por plasma, ao aumentar as durezas superficiais dos aços, amplia sua faixa de utilização, bem como a vida útil dos componentes produzidos com os mesmos. A disponibilidade de dados técnicos relativos ao tratamento de nitretação bem como ao comportamento das camadas obtidas, frente ao desgaste, são fundamentais à aplicação correta desse tratamento. No presente trabalho foram avaliadas as resistências ao desgaste abrasivo, por meio de ensaios do tipo pino-disco, dos aços DIN X50 CrVMo 51 (~AISI H 13) e DIN 34 CrAlNi 7 (nitralloy) nitretados por plasma em condições variáveis de tempo, temperatura, tipo de corrente e frequência de pulso. As camadas obtidas avaliadas por meio de ensaios de microdureza,metalográficos e as fases presentes foram determinadas por meio de difração de raios-X. Os comportamentos quanto ao desgaste foram relacionados com esses resultados obtidos. No caso do AISI H 13 foi também estudada a possibilidade da realização do segundo revenido simultaneamente com a nitretação. Esse aço apresentou características de resistência ao desgaste superiores às do aço Nitralloy. O tratamento em que se utilizou o duplo revenido anteriormente à nitretação foi menos efetivo do que o realizado simultaneamente com a mesma. A melhor condição de resistência ao desgaste ocorreu no caso do aço AISI H13 nitretado durante 3 h a 500ºC com corrente pulsada de 10 kHz. A resistência declinou com a diminuição da frequência do pulso. / The plasma nitriding, increasing the surface hardness of the steels, enlarges their use, as well as the useful life of the components produced with them. The readiness of relative technical data of the nitriding treatment as well as to the behavior of the obtained layers, with respect to the wear, are fundamental to the correct application of that treatment. In the present work the resistances of the abrasive wear they were evaluated, by means of the pin-on-disk test, of the steels DIN X50 CrVMo 51 (~AISI H13) and DIN 34 CrAINi 7 (Nitralloy) plasma nitrided in variable conditions of time, temperature, electrical current type and pulse frequency. The obtained layers were evaluated by means of microhardness and metalographic tests and the present phases were determined by means of R-X difraction. The behaviors with regards to the wear were related to those obtained results. In the case of AISI H13 steel was also studied the possibility of the simultaneously accomplishment of the second tempering with the nitriding. That steel presented resistance characteristics to the wear superiors to the on of the Nitralloy steel. The treatment in that the double tempering was used previously to the nitriding it was less effective than accomplished it simultaneously with the same. The best resistance condition to the wear happened in the case of the nitrided AISI H13 steel during 3:00 hours at 500°C with pulsed current of 10 kHz. The resistance decreased in a direct relation with the frequency of the pulse.

The purpose of this essay is to compare the works of Jalal ad-din Rumi and Fakhr al-din Araqi to see which ideas of God the two writers want to convey. Rumi and Araqi were two actors in the mystical dimension of Islam, who lived in the thirteenth century in what is today Turkey. Both were of Persian birth and their works were written in Persian. The material I have chosen to work with is Lama´at by Araqi and parts of the Masnavi by Rumi. Both of them have been translated into Swedish by Ashk Dahlén. The theoretical premiss is taken from Influence in art and literature by Göran Hermerén. My method is to find images for God in the texts to see which ideas of God the two writers want to convey. My review shows that many of the images come from the Koran and speak of personal qualities of God. Some of them also specify that God is not located at the same level as the humans. A few passages compare God with natural phenomenon like the sun and the ocean. To sum up, God is represented as a powerful being who does not exist on the same level as the humans. By applying Hermerén´s theory, I conclude that there are influences between the two writers. Their work and the images they have chosen are similar in many aspects. These influences are most likely the result of the fact that both of the writers existed within the same cultural context and under the influence of Ibn Arabi.
