Právní režim mořského dna za hranicemi národní jurisdikce ve vztahu k České republice / Legal regime of the seabed beyond the limits of national jurisdiction in relation to the Czech Republic

Pospíšil, Vojtěch January 2016 (has links)
This master's thesis deals with the topic of legal regime of the seabed beyond the limits of national jurisdiction in relation to the Czech Republic. It is still a relatively new area of human interest. In the brief introduction, author suggests relevance of this topic and its attractiveness in the future. In the second chapter author describes historical development of the law of the sea, in which the legal regime of the seabed gets special attention. Author points out, especially, differences in historical development of the sea and the seabed. Next chapter deals with relevant sources of law. That goes with enumeration of the basic international treaties. Author also suggests the possibility of origin of international customary law. Author pays attention to case law and soft law of the Authority as international organization. Next chapter describes the structure of the Authority, activities in the Area, dispute resolution mechanisms and individual resources in the Area. Separate chapter is dedicated to prospecting, exploration and exploitation. Special attention is paid towards adaptation of these activities in regulations of the Authority and a future draft of mining regulation. Sixth chapter shows involvement of the Czech Republic in the whole system, which is significant considering the size...

Právní režim ochrany biodiverzity mořského dna za hranicemi národní jurisdikce / Legal regime of Marine Biodiversity Conservation in Areas beyond National Jurisdiction

Majovská, Barbara January 2017 (has links)
The seabed has long been an unexplored area and we still do not have all the information about its environment. In the second half of the 20th century, the development of technology allowed a better exploration of the seabed. There have been discovered seamounts, hydrothermal vents and other formations. Around these formations there are rich ecosystems that are currently threatened by mining, deep-sea fishing, bioprospecting and deep-sea tourism. Most of the seabed is beyond the area of national jurisdiction and currently there is no legal convention aimed at protecting this area. This thesis explains the concept of biodiversity, its significance and threats. The main legal instruments for the protection of the seabed biodiversity are analysed. These include the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, the so-called Constitution for the oceans. At the time of the adoption of this Convention, activities on the seabed were still being developed. The UNCLOS Convention therefore regulates only the activities of exploration for and exploitation of the resources on the seabed beyond national jurisdiction, in the Area. The importance of the UNCLOS Convention for the protection of the marine environment was therefore limited. Due to the activities of The International Seabed Authority and The...

Vyšetření aktivity svalů pánevního dna po aplikaci speciálních cvičení. / An examination of pelvic floor activity folloving the application of special exercises

Ludvíková, Lucie January 2011 (has links)
Title: An examination of pelvic floor activity following the application of special exercises Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to validate the usefulness of carrying out local pelvic floor muscle examinations as an indication and education for therapy. A second objective is for the women involved in the research to subjectively evaluate the examination methods and therapy. Furthermore, the thesis aims to establish an example of a comprehensive and detailed local examination of the pelvic floor muscles. Methods: We measured the pelvic floor activity per vaginam using an EMG biofeedback device on clients with a pelvic floor dysfunction and grade I stress incontinence symptoms. Based on the results of the examination, therapy using the vaginal device was recommended and in six weeks a follow-up examination was carried out. The changes in pelvic floor activity were evaluated by comparing the initial and follow-up examinations. Thus the usefulness of carrying out an examination of the local pelvic floor muscles before indicating a therapy was validated. At the end of the examination an interview with participating clients was conducted in order to subjectively evaluate the method. Results: All of the women participating in the research had previously undergone a different method of pelvic floor...

Dysmenorea a možnosti fyzioterapie / Dysmenorrhea and its possible treatment by physiotherapy

Keresztenyová, Nikola January 2019 (has links)
Title: Dysmenorrhea and its possible treatment by physiotherapy Objectives: The aim of this thesis has been to assess the effect of simple feet exercises along with the practice of pelvic floor activation and relaxation on women struggling with dysmenorrhea. Subsequently, it also deals with the issue of whether the pelvic floor treat- ment per rectum together with the exercises is more effective than just plain exercising. Methods: This research has been based on an experiment. This thesis includes both a the- oretical part and a practical part. The methods used for the practical part are as follows: questionnaire (specifically Menstrual Symptom Questionnaire), simple feet exercises, ex- ercises used for the activation and relaxation of the pelvic floor as well as the pelvic floor treatment per rectum and final processing of the gathered data into statistics. Results: The menstrual cycle of every woman is completely individual and every woman perceives it quite differently. The result of the research was that simple feet exercises along with the practice of pelvic floor activation, relaxation and the pelvic floor treatment per rectum help women struggling with dysmenorrhea. We didn't discover any data that confirms whether the pelvic floor treatment per rectum, together with the exercises, is more...

Dysfunkce pánevního dna / Dysfunction of pelvic floor

Divišová, Kamila January 2018 (has links)
Title: Pelvic floor dysfunctions Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine the effect of physiotherapy based on the methodology of Ludmila Mojzisova on patients that were showing pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms. The objective is to take the clinical picture of the patients and compare it to the typical findings of Mojzisova. Also to determine which one of the clinical history events had most likely the biggest impact on the development of the dysfunction. Methodology: For the assessment of the effectiveness of the therapy on the patient, I used the pain scale called visual analogic scale (VAS), that was recorded at the beginning and at the end of the therapy. For the comparison of the clinical picture, I used the aspection while focusing on the divergence from the posture and assessment of spasms and blockades according to Mojzisova. This was completed with a test of stretching maneuvers and deep and superficial sensation. In order to determine the root cause of the problem of each patient, I used their clinical history. Findings: This diploma thesis confirmed the benefit of the Mojzisova method therapy in lowering the pain levels and improving the functional state of probands. This was further confirmed by the clinical picture of the study subjects. The most probable root cause of the...

Zemětřesení Mw 9.0 Tohoku-Oki z 11.3.2011 v kontextu tektonické stavby oblasti Honshu a dlouhodobé zemětřesné činnosti / Structural control of the 2011 Mw 9.0 Tohoku-Oki earthquake and its relation to the overall seismicity of Honshu

Haislová, Radka January 2016 (has links)
The 2011 March 11 Tohoku-Oki earthquake with moment magnitude of 9.0 east of Honshu, Japan, has been the fourth strongest event in the era of instrumental seismology. This thesis is focussed on a detailed analysis of earthquake distribution in time and space in the broader area of Honshu during the time interval of fifty years (1964 - 2013), and on correlation of seismological data with tectonic structure and surface morphology, including the sea floor. The aim of the thesis is not to predict the earthquake retroactively but to put its occurrence into the context of the long-term development of seismicity, to identity differences in the seismic response to the process of plate tectonics prior, during and after the Tohoku-Oki earthquake and to delimitate the tectonic causes of areal limitation of the extent of the aftershock series. The space-time analysis of the development of earthquake occurrence utilized relocated hypocentral parameters primarily identified by the International Seismological Centre (so called EHB data), focal mechanisms of the Global Centroid Moment Tensor Solution programme, surface morphology and bathymetry data, and eruptive history database of active volcanoes. A series of epicentral maps and vertical sections of focal zones were construced for the analysis of seismic...

Estudo dos distúrbios oclusais em posição de intercuspidação máxima com papel articular e palpação dos músculos masseter superficial e temporal anterior numa amostra de portadores de cefaléia crônica do tipo migrânea e voluntários normais

Hüning, Sandra Vargas January 2000 (has links)
