Nuestro propósito es explorar las intervenciones de Orientación que se desarrollan con alumnos que cursan un Programa de Iniciación Profesional, alternativa que el sistema educativo español ofrece a los alumnos (16-21 años) que no han alcanzado los objetivos de la ESO y que se encuentran en situación de desventaja sociocultural y laboral, para incorporarse a la vida activa o reinsertarse en el sistema educativo reglado. El estudio intenta conocer cuáles son las intervenciones que los Departamentos de Orientación de los centros de Educación Secundaria de la Región de Murcia realizan con los estudiantes que acceden y cursan estos Programas. Se ha desarrollado en dos fases temporales, una primera caracterizada por la incipiente implantación de los PIP y, una segunda en la que todos los centros participantes cuentan con PIP. El estudio de ambas muestras nos permite realizar un estudio de las tendencias en Orientación Profesional con estos alumnos. / Our proposal is to explore the guidance's interventions that take place with students who are studing a Professional Initiation Program. One of the options offered by the Spanish's education system for students (16-21 years) who have not achieved the aims of secondary education and who are in a sociocultural and laboral disadvantage, in order to became part of the work force or to resume their education. Our study intends to find out what are the interventions that take place with students who access and study such program, from the Departments of Guidance in the Secondary Education settings of the region of Murcia. Has been carried out in two differentiated stages, one stage is characterised by the incipient implementation of such Programs and, a second stage in which all participating settings impart PIP. The study of both samples, this allowed us to carry out a study of trends in Professional Guidance with students.
