Tomando como geradora (no sentido freireano) a questão “o que significa estudar Direito hoje?”, a Metodologia do Ensino do Direito permitiria atualizar o sentido e as formas de produção do conhecimento jurídico, subsidiando qualificadamente as iniciativas de Reforma. Mobilizados em favor de estudos teóricos e empíricos, gerais e aplicados, esses pressupostos vão descortinando novas abordagens e categorias que interpelam o futuro das práticas pedagógicas em Direito e incitam os setores inconformados a desbravar os inúmeros tesouros que elas escondem. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This dissertation takes and exercises a singular standpoint in relation to the crisis and reform of legal education in Brazil. It proposes that critical efforts on this issue be canalized towards the constitution of a field to be denominated “Legal Education Methodology”. Taking the question of “What does it mean to study law nowadays?” as a generating question in the Freirean sense, a Legal Education Methodology would allow for an updating of the meaning and ways of production of legal knowledge, hence providing quality inputs to legal education reform. Mobilized around theoretical and empirical, general and applied studies, the propositions presented in this dissertation unveil new approaches and categories that question the future of legal pedagogic practices, encouraging inconformed sectors to explore their innumerous hidden treasures.
