Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur socialsekreterare och behandlingspersonal arbetar med sina strategier och metoder för att förebygga tidigt avbrott från missbruksbehandling bland ungdomar. Studien är baserad på kvalitativa intervjuer med socialsekreterare och behandlare inom missbruksvården. Genom att utforska deras erfarenheter och strategier i arbetet med ungdomar som avbryter behandlingen tidigt, ämnar denna uppsats att bidra till en ökad förståelse för hur man kan förebygga tidiga avbrott från missbruksbehandling för ungdomar. De frågor som utforskades inkluderade socialsekreterares och behandlares olika strategier och metoder för att minska risken för avhopp från behandling och hur de arbetar för att uppmuntra ungdomar att stanna kvar i behandlingen och vilka strategier som har visat sig vara mest effektiva i detta arbete. Resultatet av denna uppsats visar att både socialsekreterare och behandlare engagerat arbetar för att förhindra att fler ungdomar avbryter sin behandling. De dedikerar mycket tid och energi till att tackla detta problem genom olika arbetsmetoder samt genom samarbete sinsemellan. Resultatet tyder på att det är av stor betydelse att ungdomen, tillsammans med socialsekreterare och behandlare, arbetar för att motivera ungdomen och få dem att känna sig lyssnade på och respekterade, för att behålla motivationen att fortsätta behandlingen. / This essay aims to investigate how social workers and therapists work to prevent adolescents from discontinuing their treatment. The study is based on qualitative interviews with social workers and therapists in the field of substance abuse treatment. By exploring their experiences and strategies in working with adolescents who terminate treatment early, this essay seeks to contribute to an increased understanding of how to prevent early treatment dropout among adolescents. The questions explored included the different strategies and methods employed by social workers and therapists to reduce the risk of treatment dropout, how they work to encourage adolescents to stay in treatment, and which strategies have proven to be most effective in this work. The results of this essay demonstrate that both social workers and therapists are actively engaged in preventing further dropout among adolescents. They devote a significant amount of time and energy to address this issue through various working methods and collaboration among themselves. The findings suggest that it is crucial for the adolescents, along with the social workers and therapists, to work together to motivate the youths and make them feel heard and respected in order to maintain their motivation to continue the treatment.
