Efeitos da sazonalidade na ocupaÃÃo de leitos em um hospital filantrÃpico do municÃpio de Fortaleza-ce / Effects of seasonality on the bed occupancy in a charity hospital in Fortaleza-ce

nÃo hà / As unidades hospitalares utilizam diversas ferramentas que auxiliam na gestÃo. Um desses indicadores à a taxa de ocupaÃÃo hospitalar que mede a relaÃÃo entre o nÃmero de pacientesdia e o nÃmero de leitos-dia durante determinado perÃodo. Compreender o comportamento da taxa de ocupaÃÃo hospitalar identificando suas tendÃncias e sazonalidades à o objetivo principal deste trabalho. A instituiÃÃo escolhida para este estudo realiza atendimentos para o SUS, Particular e ConvÃnio. Como cada categoria possui suas peculiaridades, este estudo buscou os modelos que mais se ajustavam Ãs sÃries das taxas de ocupaÃÃo e obteve os seguintes resultados: para a modalidade convÃnio o modelo ARIMA (2,1,2), para particular ARMA (1,1), para o SUS AR (1) e para a taxa de ocupaÃÃo total AR(1). Em todas as modalidades foram identificadas presenÃa de sazonalidade em alguns meses, sendo o modelo da taxa de ocupaÃÃo total o que mais apresentou esta caracterÃstica. TambÃm em todas as sÃries, o mÃs de fevereiro foi o que mostrou menor taxa de ocupaÃÃo. / The hospitals use various tools to assist in management. One of these indicators is the hospital occupancy rate, which measures the relationship between the number of patient-days and the number of bed-days during a given period. Understanding the behavior of the hospital occupancy rate of identifying trends and seasonality is the main objective of this work. The institution selected for this study offer these services to the SUS, private and Covenant. As each category has its peculiarities, this study sought models that best fit the series in occupancy rates and obtained the following results: the agreement to form ARIMA (2,1,2), particularly for ARMA (1,1 ) to SUS AR (1) and the total load factor AR (1). In all modes were identified presence of seasonality in some months, with the model of the total load factor that showed this feature. Also in all series, the month of February was the one that showed a lower occupancy rate.
