Neste trabalho propõe-se diretrizes para elaboração de projetos de iluminação em edificações estruturadas em aço, seja pelo aproveitamento de todo o potencial luminoso da natureza, quanto pelas novas tecnologias de lâmpadas frente às demandas de economia de energia que contemplem o tema tão atual da responsabilidade ambiental. Para o desenvolvimento deste trabalho vários estudos foram feitos onde são abordados assuntos pertinentes e relacionados ao tema tais como: a evolução e uso da luz natural e artificial, tecnologias da iluminação, linguagem visual e artística do uso da luz, etc. Diversos aspectos considerados de grande importância do uso da luz natural e/ou artificial com enfoque na economia de energia, na exploração do potencial simbólico, funcional e artístico dos espaços projetados, nos aspectos normativos e nas novas tecnologias da indústria da iluminação são contemplados em três abordagens intituladas Ambiental, Normativa e Arquitetônica. A partir desses aspectos considerados verifica-se a necessidade de se considerar nos projetos as grandes possibilidades de explorar o potencial da qualidade e eficiência da luz natural e/ou artificial. O uso destes recursos propiciados pela correta utilização das fontes de luz, com certeza agrega valor ao projeto. Fica claro também que a integração do projeto luminotécnico com os demais projetos e principalmente com o arquitetônico tem que ser efetivamente considerada e desejada. Nos projetos concebidos em aço esta questão ainda é mais contundente já que as possibilidades das transparências e a visibilidade do edifício é bem maior e consequentemente o uso da luz natural na medida certa nem mais nem menos é primordial. __________________________________________________________________________________________ / ABSTRACT: In order to achieve satisfactory lighting in a building, whether it be natural or artificial light, it is necessary to analyze and consider various aspects that ought to precede the architectural and/or technical lighting project. This work proposes guidelines for drawing up illumination projects for steel structure buildings, whether it be for taking full advantage of the natural light or for using new energy efficient lighting technologies in order to meet with the current need for environmental responsibility. To develop this work, various studies were made of pertinent and related matters to this topic, such as: the evolution and use of both artificial and natural light; illumination technologies; visual and artistic languages of the use of light; etc. Various aspects that are considered of great importance with regard to the use of natural and/or artificial light, with a focus on energy efficiency as well as on the exploration of the symbolic, functional and artistic potential of the projected spaces, in normative aspects and also in new technologies of the illumination industry are examined, through three approaches: the environmental, normative and architectural. Proceeding from these aspects, the large possibilities for exploring the potential of the quality and efficiency of natural or artificial light are verified. The use of these resources brought about by the correct use of light sources adds value to the project. It is also evident that the integration of the technical lighting project with the other projects and primarily with the architectural project needs to be taken into account. For projects conceived in steel, this question is even more important, given that the possibilities of transparence and the visibility of the building is much greater; consequently the use of natural light in the right measure is primordial.
