Potsdam hat ein neues Potsdamer Toleranzedikt. Das 100-seitige Edikt ist das Ergebnis eines knapp achtmonatigen Stadtgesprächs, das in Potsdam im Jahr 2008 stattgefunden hat. Oberbürgermeister Jann Jakobs stellte das Buch am 10. Oktober 2008 zusammen mit Projektinitiator Prof. Heinz Kleger, Universität Potsdam, der Öffentlichkeit vor. Es ist anders als das historische "Edikt von Potsdam", kein Erlass von oben, sondern wurde in einem offen angelegten Diskussionsprozess von den Einwohnerinnen und Einwohnern der Stadt Potsdam auf vielfältige Art und Weise gestaltet: auf den stadtweit aufgestellten Diskussionstafeln, in zahlreichen Gesprächen auf Veranstaltungen, in Diskussionsrunden, durch eingesendete Postkarten, erarbeiteten Selbstverpflichtungen und eingebrachten Diskussionsbeiträgen im Internet. Das neue Potsdamer Toleranzedikt besteht aus drei Teilen. Beginnend mit einer Präambel, die den Begriff Toleranz für die Potsdamer und das gemeinsame Zusammenleben beschreibt, wird im ersten Teil ein historischer und aktueller Zusammenhang hergestellt. Der zweite Teil enthält die Ergebnisse des Stadtgesprächs, die detailliert ausgewertet und erläutert wurden. Im dritten Teil wurden die Selbstverpflichtungen unterschiedlichster gesellschaftlicher Akteure aus Potsdam abgebildet. Das Projekt Potsdamer Toleranzedikt ist ein Kooperationsprojekt der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam und des Vereins proWissen Potsdam e.V, unterstützt vom Stifterverband der Deutschen Wissenschaft.

This diploma thesis is devoted to the situation of Christians living in the Roman Empire in the first four centuries AD. Every new religion has to face a number of problems in its beginnings, its misunderstanding and its position in society must be gradually enforced. However, the very beginnings of Christianity are not easy to grasp, since so many sources have not been preserved to this day. Likewise, many events are perceived through Christian optics and thus interpreted unilaterally. These are, above all, martyrological texts that have been extensively modified over time and authenticity is now relatively difficult. This diploma thesis is divided into several chapters, while in the first one I try to describe the Roman society and the Roman religion with which the Christian faith was confronted. Further chapters and chapters are devoted to the rise and spread of Christianity, the person of Jesus Christ, and the Church Fathers who report to us about the first centuries of Christian faith. The most extensive part of this diploma thesis is devoted to the main topic of persecution of Christians in the first four centuries AD. 1 Michal Vázal: The Confucian Ideal of Harmonious Community according to the Norms of the Wu Lineage from Mingzhou Abstract Abstract: This paper aims to characterize the structure and values produced by rituals in a kinship community, and how these characteristics subsequently helped to shape a harmoniously working community and its ideological relationship with the state in terms of local governance. The rituals in question are partially confined in time and place, as they are observed on one particular community, and are examined only in the extent of the primary source named "The Norms and Rituals of the Wu Lineage of Mingzhou" (Mingzhou Wu Shi Jiadian) - a ritual manual authored mainly by Wu Di (died 1736) from the village of Mingzhou, which belonged to the Huizhou prefecture (the south of the present day Anhui province). On the other hand, this text is largely based on Zhu Xi's "Family Rituals" (Jiali) which were viewed across the country as the ritual standard. The most essential rituals used to govern the lineage were coming of age ritual, wedding rituals, funeral rituals and sacrifices to ancestors.
