A partir de pesquisa bibliográfica acerca da constituição de grupos, procurei desvelar os fatores determinantes da atuação dos mesmos. Diante desse contexto, este estudo tem como primeiro objetivo, obter o entendimento sobre a dimensão da Escola Pública no Brasil, com ênfase nas concepções pedagógicas que contribuíram historicamente para a construção da escola atual. A intenção da pesquisa foi refletir sobre as relações de poder no campo da Escola, as implicações ligadas ao habitus, à indisciplina e às formas de inclusão e exclusão praticadas entre grupos de estabelecidos e de outsider (segundo Norbert Elias), fatores esses que se encontram mediados pela mídia e pela indústria cultural, no bojo da globalização levada a efeito pelo neoliberalismo da contemporaneidade. A pesquisa teórica permitiu levantar dados históricos sobre as características da adolescência e da juventude como fenômenos de expressão psíquica e social, procurando compreendê-las no contexto das manifestações da cultura juvenil em geral, assim como no entorno específico da escola, privilegiando aspectos ligados à violência implícita na atuação de alguns grupos. Este trabalho realizou, ainda, estudos de casos envolvendo alguns sujeitos da pesquisa - sujeitos representativos das culturas juvenis presentes na escola - e de agentes escolares. Pensa-se que este estudo possa ser de interesse das administrações escolares e de educadores, que lidam com as configurações grupais constituídas por alunos, exalunos... / Called the attention to the invasive and not disciplined presence of groups, tribes, gangs of adolescents and young people at the Oscar Villares school direction I felt the need of knowing the principal characteristics of these groups in order to understand them better. From the academic research, I sought the theoretical - methodological grounds, trying to find out determinant factors of performance in these groups. The main goal of this study is to enlighten the understanding about the state school in Brazil, highlighting the pedagogical concepts that historically construed the current school. This research reflects upon the power relations linked to lack of discipline and the forms of inclusion and exclusion performed by groups - called outsiders - facts mediated by the media and cultural industry marked by globalization taken effect by the current neo-liberalism. The theoretical research permit to gather historical data about the adolescence characteristics as psychic expression and social phenomenon, and about the manifestations of the juvenile culture in a broader level, and also in the school, privileging aspects linked to implicit violence in the performance of some groups. In the practical aspect, this work uses field research to approach and gathering of data, from case studies involving some subjects of the research who represent this juvenile culture and school agents. This study can be of interest for the school administrations and also educators, that deal with such groups, constituted by students, former students, subjects of the community, trying to have some kind of interaction with the school. It shows some alternatives for the elaboration of living with these groups, thereby opening the school to the manifestation of their lifestyle and their peculiar culture.
