Priority školního klubu / Priorities of school clubNOVÁKOVÁ, Radka January 2014 (has links)
In my dissertation I focused on the priorities of Bernard Bolzano o.p.s. school club in Tábor. In the theoretic part of my dissertation I mention leisure time in connection with children, historical development of leisure time pedagogy, functions, forms and activities of interest education, relationships and communication, definition of a school club and its advantages, school club participants, framework education programme and key competencies. In the practical part of the dissertation I made a research on priorities of a school club. On this basis I created various hypotheses. The veracity or inveracity of the hypotheses should have been verified by a questionnaire formed by research questions. Special additional questions of a structured dialogue with parents and educators of the school club served to specify the research. The evaluation of questionnaires and dialogues has brought the verification of the hypotheses.

Otevřené kluby a jejich místo ve školním vzdělávacím programu DDMKOČOVSKÁ, Alena January 2018 (has links)
The aim of the master's thesis is to clarify the concept of open clubs. Basic terms connected to an open club are defined in the first part of the thesis. Spontaneous activities and low-threshold approaches are the most important there. The principle of low-threshold approaches are typical also for other institutions, that are registered in law. It concerns low-threshold centres for children and youth. The origin, development, aiming and activities of these centres are described. The thesis explains open activities for young people offered by different leisure time centres. Also open clubs and Salesian centres offer these activities. The last chapter of this part shows basic differences between an open club and a low-threshold centre for children and youth. The second part of the thesis deals with a detailed analysis of the School Education Programme of a chosen centre carrying on an open club. The aim of the research is to find information about the open club in the document and evaluate the extent and the quality of the discovered details.

Komparace metod nácviku počátečního čtení a psaní ve vztahu k rozvoji specifických poruch učení / Comparison of practicing methods of initial reading and writing in relation to specific learning disordersHladká, Jitka January 2017 (has links)
Theoretical part of this thesis comprises findings gathered by analyzing available specialized literature focused on specific learning disorders, methods of practicing of initial reading and writing, and Framework Education Program for Elementary Education. The practical part consists of research in a form of questionnaire survey, which compares both learning and writing training methods with respect to specific learning disorders as its main target. The main purpose of this research was to obtain and analyze opinions of specialists from counseling and school psychology clinics on methods of teaching reading and writing, furthermore how these methods may help avert the development of special learning disorders or which methods of teaching writing and reading might be associated with more frequent development of special learning disorders. The survey shows, that the most popular and the most suitable method for initial writing and reading practice according to inquired specialists is still the analytical-synthetic method, which sustains development of particular functions and it is coherent with child's natural phonological development. On the contrary, application of genetic method appears to be the most perilous, since pupils educated by this method seem to display more problems related to...

Understanding adult education: Case-studies of three university-based adult education certificate programs.January 2000 (has links)
Doctor Educationis / By the mid-1980s, the Nationalist Party had sought to salvage almost four decades of apartheid
policies that were based on white supremacy. In this regard, it engaged in dual strategies of
repression and reform. The state's strategies were challenged by organizations and movements
within civil society. In this regard, many community-based organizations mushroomed
both nationally and regionally. These organizations were coordinated by adult political activists
most of whom were perceived to lack the necessary skills to manage organizations more
effectively. In this conjuncture, the Adult Education Departments at five South African
universities developed certificate-level programs to address this gap. This study focuses on
three such programs, the Community Adult Education Programme, based at the University of
Cape Town, the Certificate for Educators of Adults at the University of the Western Cape, and
the Community Adult Educators Training Course based at the University of NatalPietermaritzburg.
This study investigates the social and political conditions that gave rise to the three certificate
programs. It also investigates the relationship between the external social and political
conditions and the internal curriculum practices of the certificates. This process analyses the
nature of the relationship and identifies shifts in the programs and the curriculum practices
between 1986 and 1996. The study uses a qualitative approach and draws on elements of critical
theory and social constructionism to understand the data gleaned from interviews and
documents.
This study argues that all three certificate programs have directly been tied into the sociopolitical context in South Africa between 1986 and 1996. In this decade the study argues, there
are three distinct political periods, namely repression/reform, negotiations, and fragile
democracy. It argues that distinct features from each period have shaped the certificates in
different ways. Along with the national political conditions as manifest at the level of the state,
the private sector, and civil society, there are local and institutional dynamics that contribute to the
different forms assumed by these certificates. The study further argues that the external social -
political conditions from each period have demarcated and fixed the boundaries for the
certificates as a social practice. In this process, the curriculum practices for each period permitted
certain words and practices in preference to others. Consequently, it argues that the external and
internal social and political dimensions together construct the certificates as a discourse.
This study is based on a belief that the role of a certified practitioner is to creatively locate the
day-to-day practices within different theoretical frameworks to advance studies into sites
of adult education practices. This study represents a step in such a direction.

Pharmacist educational outreach for improved primary care of asthma in childrenBheekie, Angeni January 2001 (has links)
Doctor Pharmaceuticae - DPharm / Underdiagnosis and undertreatment of asthma in children are barriers to optimal health care delivery and health, incurring substantial costs to both the families and health services. A tailored multifaceted educational outreach intervention ("academic detailing") was designed and implemented among private sector general practitioners (GPs) serving a poor working class urban community in Cape Town, South Africa. The
intervention aimed to improve primary care childhood asthma by promoting the adoption of guideline-based key messages. The effectiveness of the intervention was tested in a randomised controlled trial, Chestiness and Asthma in Mitchell's Plain (CHAMP) (Zwarenstein 1999). This thesis describes the design, implementation and qualitative evaluation of the outreach intervention. Methods
Qualitative interviews and quantitative sample surveys were conducted among GPs to identify and measure the prevalence of perceived barriers to optimal asthma care in children. A trained pharmacist visited GPs twice, promoting eight evidence-based primary care messages to overcome barriers to optimal care for asthma in children. The messages focused on key diagnostic indicators, a treatment algorithm based on severity, cost of drug therapies, inhaler and spacer use, and preventive treatment. These messages were formatted into attractive promotional material. The first visit promoted use of the messages, the second reinforced adoption in routine practice and assessed GPs'
responses using unobtrusive qualitative data collection methods. The dialogue was tailored to each GP's needs. Results Thirty-two GPs received the intervention. All but one consented to both visits. At the first visit responses were varied. A few GPs were confused or suspicious; most were in agreement with the messages but seemed passive towards implementation; a few were keen to adopt the messages into their routine practice. Response at first visit was not predictive of use as assessed at the second. At the second visit, most GPs claimed that they personally agreed with and used the messages, with a large minority less enthusiastic. Conclusion The intervention appears to have been broadly accepted as evident from GPs' acceptance of the outreach pharmacist, but reports of complete adoption of the messages and use of the kit were less prevalent. This finding is consistent with and helps to explain the improved health outcomes of children with asthma in the CHAMP trial. The combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods was effective in identifying and assessing GPs' barriers. Further, the combination helped to confirm the determinants for the intervention. Unobtrusive qualitative methods provided valuable
insight into GP behaviour in routine setting. Additional studies conducted in public sector pnmary care settings and for other diseases are needed to confirm the wider acceptability and effectiveness of multifaceted outreach interventions aimed at improving professional practice. Such an intervention in our study setting seemed successful for childhood asthma.

Možnosti využití muzikoterapie v rámci primárního vzdělávání / The possibilities of music therapy use in the framework of primary educationBezoušková, Tereza January 2019 (has links)
THE ABSTRACT This diploma thesis aims to analyse the use of music therapy techniques as means to reduce the manifestations of attention deficit disorders. Furthermore, it deals with the application of said supportive measures in the framework of bullying prevention and its pathological effects. It also focuses on ways music therapy can be instrumental in a pupil's personal and social growth. In the theoretical part, the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education is introduced as one of the key changes in primary education in the framework of curricular reform. The chapter also addresses the topic of inclusive education, supportive measures and key competencies. Later on, music therapy is the subject of interest. Its methods, specializations and possibilities of use are listed. The chapter Specific learning and behavioural disorders introduces specific disorders, concentrating in detail on dyslexia, mutism, ADHD and ADD. I point out the use of music therapy as a re-educational tool, as well. I lay out a range of music therapy games which are tried out in the research part of the thesis. The research part deals with the application of music therapy activities within school lessons. These activities are assorted into thematic units, each of them customised to cater to the needs of pupils with...
