The first part renders the theoretical introduction to the problems of career guidance and the next possible educational choice. There are clarified the important terms of the work, selected parts of career progression, characteristics of development stage of pubescent with respect to the next possible educational choice at the end of the primary school. Then we get acquainted with the basic principles of methodical approach and characteristics of systemic dialog. The empiric part brings particular casuistry which illustrates searching of harmony between personality of a pupil, background for exercise of a profession, chanciness, ignorance and deficient of maturity of pupils (their parents too) for the next career progression. We try to show the importance and benefit of the systemic approach and dialog just with guidance in casuistry and discussions. It tries to show a suitable systemic approach as a theoretical and philosophical framework of career counselor in the context of the consulting situation with children and their parents. This work shows that this approach helps that the counselor does not only submit a verdict but creates a place for thinking about possibilities. Thesis Career Counseling, as a part of a general system of counseling at high schools, deals with diverse approaches towards professional preparation at high schools. Any help, with making a right decision of choosing a career or continuing in studies, is undoubtedly an important source for each person at high school and has been occupying this distinctive role in education. This thesis is trying to bring about the changing of the position of Career Counselor's within the school system, in a general system of counseling. The goal of this thesis is to cover the various subjects' conception of counselors at high schools and also trying to entitle their targets in connection with reality. At the end there will be given a description and clarification of three different high schools (each with different cultural and social-economic conditions) and their correspondences towards Career counseling in cooperation with the content analyses of the subjects' conceptions of Career counseling.

This diploma work named Socio-Pathological Phenomena at Secondary Vocational School and Their Possible Solution deals, in its theoretical part, with the basic terminology related with this topic. It also focuses on the risk behaviour among today's young people, and briefly introduces socio-pathological phenomena which occured at the surveyed secondary school in the last two years. It also describes other kinds of contemporary risk behaviour among young generation. At the end of theoretical part, there are introduced some of the current trends in school prevention and solution of socio-pathological phenomena. Period of adolescence is of course closely associated with this topic. It's called critical stage, and all the students pass this period during their secondary school attendance. That's why the chapter devoted to adolescence is elaborated in full details. Gender differences concerning appearance and intensity of socio-pathological phenomena are also mentioned here. Next, there is explained the system of primary prevention in The Czech Republic, the importace of family and school background, the impact of peers on personality development.
