Výuka žáků na prvním stupni základní školy k ochraně obyvatelstva v zóně havarijního plánování Jaderné elektrárny Temelín / Teaching population protection in emergency planning zone Nuclear Power Plant in primary school.

ZUNT, Josef January 2014 (has links)
Thesis: "Teaching pupils at the primary school population protection in emergency planning zone Nuclear Power Plant". Has been selected for processing coherent view on the issue of teaching students the first grade of primary school. At the beginning of my diploma thesis I present a brief history of the protection of the population curricula in elementary schools in the first instance and the current legislation on the protection of man for emergencies. The objectives of this work are two. The first is to determine the awareness of pupils in primary schools on possible measures in the emergency planning zone. The second proposal is to improve the teaching of human protection during emergencies. Hypothesis: Implementation of education on the protection of the population in the emergency planning zone Nuclear Power Plant meets the requirements specified population protection. I focused on the collection of data and information that is preoccupied with this issue. The sample is the fifth year of primary school, which is the image of the entire knowledge of First Instance, which was subjected to a statistical survey The results of this investigation are the image information of the first elementary schools in the emergency planning zone of the nuclear power plant and also the basis for any improvement The results of the questionnaire survey, it is obvious that the awareness of students, which should be, is very different. There are differences only in specific issues for single students, but they vary in knowledge examined schools. A key finding is that a proportion of pupils does not control the issue of first aid, for example. What is the frequency of chest compressions during adult indirect heart massage. Students often do not know the tone siren sounds during an emergency and what to do when it runs. These problems in my work solved the proposal to improve the awareness of students, namely: Load a single object, quality education for teachers, quality teaching materials, wider participation of legal entities and individuals doing business, closer cooperation with the Czech School Inspectorate of the Czech Republic. The contribution of this work see especially in the survey results that there is still room for improvement and it is best to invest in this subject in primary schools. The paper summarizes the issues of awareness of students of the first steps in the zone HP JETE and proposes appropriate measures. It is the image of pupils' knowledge, there is located a smallish their knowledge and focuses on awareness, education and possible remedies.

Prostředky dekontaminace osob a techniky v zóně havarijního plánování / Means and Decontamination of People and Technique in Area of Emergency Planning

NIMANSKÝ, Jiří January 2018 (has links)
There are two nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic for which measures to protect the population are proposed in the case of a radiation accident. This diploma thesis deals with one of them by decontamination of persons and techniques in the emergency planning zone. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis focuses mainly on knowledge and concepts in the field of ionizing radiation, radiation protection and emergency planning. The main objective was to analyze, compare and evaluate the existing and newly introduced decontamination means of persons and equipment of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and the Army of the Czech Republic. For this purpose, eight decontamination devices have been selected for use in a radiation accident. One of the partial objectives is also to compare the decontamination methods and procedures of both components. The quantitative processing of the parameters studied was used to compare, and a multi-criteria decision-making method was used to obtain the results, using the scoring method. In order to obtain data and information, searches of available publications, methodological sheets and instructions for decontamination equipment were carried out. All information has been consulted with chemical experts from the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic and chemical units of the Army of the Czech Republic. The results of the comparison showed that the decontamination facilities of the members of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic are more suitable for use in the radiation accident. Their main advantages are a more effective solution for wound decontamination and a system for capturing and collecting contaminated water. However, the Army of the Czech Republic would be able to do the same work after the partial modifications. The decontamination equipment for solving the radiation accident is constantly being refined. An example is the Portable Frame Gamma Detector. This allows you to speed up the decontamination process and saves the forces and resources deployed to deal with an emergency.

Znalosti obyvatelstva v zóně havarijního plánování o provozu Jaderné elektrárny Temelín / Knowledge of the population in the emergency planning zone about the operation of Temelín Nuclear Power Plant.

KRČMÁŘ, Martin January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis is based on an analysis of knowledge of inhabitants within the emergency planning zone of operations, security and behaviour in case of an accident in the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant (TNPP). Operation a nuclear equipment in connected with certain risks which can´t be utterly eliminated. From this reason, security precautions are made, which are based on an accident preparedness, or on emergency plans. Emergency planning serves to a preparedness for non-standard or emergency situations for an area which is called an emergency planning zone. The emergency preparedness, not only within this zone, has a key role for a successful performance of inhabitants´ protection in case of an emergency event. The concept of emergency preparedness includes both the emergency planning and inhabitants´ awareness and knowledge of operations, risks and following precautions in case of an accident in TNPP. The aim of this diploma thesis is to inquire about "What is knowledge of inhabitants within an emergency planning zone of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant operations?" The theoretical part is based on consulting the employees of ČEZ Ltd. Who work in the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant as well as on a study of professional literature, articles and related legislation. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey and it is divided into three parts: operations, risks, security, knowledge and behaviour during an accident. The results revealed some margins in respondents´ knowledge concerning issues of operations as well as knowledge and behaviour during an accident. A positive evaluation concerns respondents´ knowledge of used nuclear fuel, the meaning of containment building and the procedures in case of evacuation. On the other hand, the respondents showed insufficient knowledge of the function of a reactor, what barriers are between the active zone and environment and when to use iodine prophylaxis. I consider the present status of inhabitants´ knowledge of TNPP operations insufficient and I propose some improvements. It is important to focus on inhabitants older than 50 years, whose lack of knowledge is even alarming.

Ochrana obyvatelstva v zóně havarijního plánování v okolí jaderné elektrárny Temelín / Population protection in the emergency planning zone around the Nuclear Power Plant Temelín

MARTINŮ, Pavlína January 2007 (has links)
This issue represents contribution to discussion of the population protection within the emergency planning zone of Temelín Nuclear Power Plant (NNP). My intention was to evaluate the actual system of public protection measures in the case of potential appearance of the radiation accident. As a part of this evaluation the analysis of correlation between emergency classification system of emergency events severity, valid for Temelín NPP, and system of immediate protective measures for population was done. The introductory parts of my work describes the basic information about Temelín Nuclear Power Plan. The main attention was given to nuclear safety, radiation protection, principles of emergency preparedness and types of NPP operating modes. Further system of public protection measures for the case of radiation accident appearance is described. Emergency classification system of potential extraordinary events at Temelín NPP and principles of announcements and public warning is also explained in this part. Part of this information represents description of potential implementation of immediate protective actions. One of the outputs is in the form of simple educational software program useful especially for children education. They can received information how to behave in the case of radiation accident declaration. Software is enclosed in the form of compact disk and gain knowledge can be verified by a short test.
