The theme of the Master's thesis is an analysis of personnel work in the company Makovec a.s. which develops, manufactures and sells meat and meat products. The work is divided into theoretical part where the individual personnel activities are described and the practical part where the theoretical knowledge is compared with the practical facts in the company. The analysis focuses on the recruitment, selection, adoption, adaptation, evaluation, remuneration and education of employees and aims to identify the strengths and the weaknesses and tries to suggest alternative solutions.

Busness Administration / Existing research suggests that the Public Sector Performance Management Systems are used to some extent, in support of strategic planning and other governance and managerial functions. However, there is still a gap on the effectiveness of the performance management system. In recent years, organisations have implemented performance management because it leads to better organisational results as reported in many articles and case studies. However, there is little solid empirical evidence of the actual effects performance management has on the quantitative results of the public sector. This study aims to describe the results of a study that explores the quantitative research on the effectiveness of performance management and development in the Department of Cooperative Governance by examining the actual practices in performance management and discuss the rationale for performance management as well as the political and organisational factors influencing this process within this Department.

This graduation theses is about creation and implementing the system of employees evaluation in the company ELTODO EG, a.s. At first the analysis of working stations was done. The results of the analysis were job descriptions and role specifications. And then the competence model of the company was done. Further we had to specify the aims, areas and criteria of evaluation. We also had to choose available methods and create the evaluation form. The substance of this system is the evaluation interview. This interview serves for appreciation of the job performance and the competence of employees and for determination of their performance and developing aims. At the end of this theses the methodology of evaluation was created. This methodology contains the important information about persons and term of evaluation.
