La presente tesis busca abordar el diseño arquitectónico de la Escuela Metropolitana del Cuerpo General de Bomberos voluntarios del Perú. La idea de tener un centro de entrenamiento propio para la instrucción de los bomberos del Perú nace a partir de la intención de dotar de una mejor educación a sus futuros miembros y mejorar la calidad del servicio bomberil. La escuela busca establecerse como uno de los símbolos de infraestructura del CGBVP. Esta contará con espacios de interrelación entre la sociedad civil y los miembros del cuerpo de bomberos. El fortalecimiento de esta relación sociedad-bomberos permitirá un reconocimiento colectivo de la importancia del trabajo de los bomberos. Este efecto empatía hará que el CGBVP aumente su prestigio y su vocación de servicio se afiance aún más. Con el fin de que la escuela logre los estándares internacionales establecidos por la NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) se ha tomado en cuenta la norma NFPA 1402 como guía principal para el diseño de los espacios. / This thesis seeks to address the architectural design of the Metropolitan School of the General Volunteer Fire Department of Peru. The idea of having a training center of its own for the training of firefighters of Peru was born from the intention of providing a better education to its future members and improve the quality of the fire service. The school seeks to establish itself as one of the infrastructure symbols of the CGBVP. This will have spaces of interrelation between civil society and members of the fire brigade. The strengthening <of this society-firefighter relationship will allow a collective recognition of the importance of the work of firefighters. This empathic effect will make the CGBVP increase its prestige and its vocation of service will become even stronger. In order for the school to meet the international standards established by the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), the NFPA 1402 standard has been considered as the main guide for the design of the spaces. / Tesis
