Foletto, Taline January 2015 (has links)
In this work, we present a recursive s heme targeting the hierar hi al onstru tion of anisotropi LTSN solution from the isotropi LTSN solution. The main idea relies in the decomposition of the associated LTSN anisotropi matrix as a sum of two matri es in whi h one matrix contains the isotropic and the other anisotropi part of the problem. The matrix ontaining the anisotropi part is considered as the source of the isotropic problem. The solution of this problem is made by the decomposition of the angular ux as a trun ated series of intermediate fun tions and repla e in the isotropic equation. After the replacement of these into the split isotropi equation, we construct a set of isotropi recursive problems, that are readily solved by the lassi LTSN isotropi method. We apply this methodology to solve problems onsidering homogeneous and heterogeneous anisotropi regions. Numeri al results are presented and ompared with the lassi al LTSN anisotropi solution.
