One, is Ruy Moreira´s geographic theory, here shown. The other, is the federal government discourse and actions, present in the Brazil´s territorial extent study, Estudo da Dimensão Territorial para o Planejamento, 2008. These works constitute the structure of understanding Brazil, according to Ruy Moreira and the federal government planning. Reading and interpreting both allow a glance in the spatial arrangement of the relationship between countryside-town in Brazil and this being identified as a set of movement of actions and situations. From this movement it is possible to glance the country we live in and the one we will live / O caráter perspectivo do título O BRASIL QUE VIVE(RE)MOS se apoia em duas referências que retratam a formação e a organização territorial do país. Uma é a teoria geográfica de Ruy Moreira e a outra é o discurso do Estado presente no Estudo da Dimensão Territorial para o Planejamento, 2008. Ambas as obras constituem os eixos de entendimento do Brasil, segundo Ruy Moreira e segundo o planejamento estatal. O entrecruzamento de tais eixos de entendimento possibilitam vislumbrar um arranjo espacial da relação cidade-campo no Brasil, e, este, sendo identificado como um movimento de conjunto de ações e situações. A partir deste movimento de conjunto torna-se possível vislumbrar um Brasil que vivemos e que viveremos.
