The implementation of the new curriculum at the medical school of the Federal University of Alagoas began in 2006. Several analyzes on the development of this curriculum have enabled the identification of limits and potential of the developed curriculum organization. But there are still gaps in information about how the school prepares its students to face these changes in society, survive and grow in a global scenario in constant motion while rescuing care to people with broader view and form citizens aware of their role in society. The Final Academic Work of Masters in Education in Health aimed to Know Opportunities in Extended Clinic experienced by students in their final year, during the Farm Internship in Arapiraca / AL. Final Academic Work enabled two results. 1 - The production of a scientific article entitled Extended Clinic: The Student Experience Opportunities in Rural Internship, aims to better understand the perspective of medical students, experienced the opportunities related to the concepts of extended clinic during the rural internship; 2 - A proposed intervention (product), aiming to build space for discussion and realization of Extended Clinic on Axis of Approach to Medical Practice and Community, priority the intership. A qualitative research where it can be concluded that the rural internship enables the incorporation of some principles of an extended clinic by students. But the absence of reports on the process of building autonomy of "subjects" points to a medical practice focused on illness. It was observed also that despite the curriculum changes, the structure of current medical training introduces limits to the effectiveness of Extended Clinic on diffrent scenarios in health clinic. The proposed intervention is in a learning program about extended clinic in the disciplines of public health and internships. With the implementation of the program it is expected that at the end of the internship, the students have more knowledge about the Extended Clinic conditions and identifies it and practice it in their daily lives. Another expected result is that this learning program to be exercised by teachers, tutors and students enables planning, in a systematic and coordinated from the University with the service , a strategy that promotes the practice of Extended Clinic in many scenarios of _ practice in rural internship. Therefore, it is expected that the university takes its active role in strengthening of the SUS. / A implantação do novo currículo no curso médico da Universidade Federal de Alagoas iniciou-se em 2006. Diversas análises sobre o desenvolvimento desse currículo têm possibilitado a identificação de limites e potencialidades da organização curricular desenvolvida. Mas ainda há lacunas de informações sobre como a escola prepara seus estudantes para enfrentar essas mudanças da sociedade, sobreviver e crescer em um cenário mundial em movimento constante, ao mesmo tempo resgatar o cuidado com as pessoas com olhar ampliado e formar cidadãos conscientes de seu papel na sociedade. O trabalho acadêmico de conclusão do curso do mestrado em Ensino na Saúde teve como objetivo Conhecer as Oportunidades Vivenciadas em Clínica Ampliada pelos alunos do último ano, durante o Internato no Estágio Rural em Arapiraca/AL. O Trabalho acadêmico de conclusão do curso possibilitou dois resultados. 1- A produção de um artigo científico intitulado Clínica Ampliada: As Oportunidades de Vivência Discente no Estágio Rural, cujo objetivo foi conhecer, sob a ótica de acadêmicos de medicina, as oportunidades vivenciadas relacionadas aos conceitos de clínica ampliada, durante o internato no estágio rural; 2- Uma proposta de intervenção (produto), tendo como objetivo construção de espaço de discussão e efetivação da Clínica Ampliada, no Eixo de Aproximação à Prática Médica e Comunidade, priorizando os internatos. A pesquisa realizada foi do tipo qualitativa. A partir dela, pôde-se concluir que o internato rural propicia a incorporação de alguns princípios de uma clínica ampliada por parte dos alunos. Porém, a ausência de relatos sobre o processo de construção da autonomia dos “sujeitos” aponta para uma prática médica centrada na enfermidade. Observou-se, ainda, que apesar das mudanças curriculares, a estrutura da formação médica atual apresenta limites para a efetivação de uma clínica ampliada nos diversos cenários de saúde. A proposta de intervenção trata-se de um programa de aprendizagem sobre a clínica ampliada nas disciplinas da saúde coletiva e internatos. Com a implantação do programa, espera-se que, ao final do estágio, os acadêmicos tenham mais conhecimentos sobre a Clínica Ampliada e condições de identificá-la e praticá-la em seu cotidiano. Outro resultado esperado é que este programa de aprendizagem ao ser exercido por docentes, preceptores e alunos possibilite o planejamento, de forma sistemática e articulada da universidade com o serviço, estratégia essa que promove a prática da Clínica Ampliada nos diversos cenários de prática do internato. Assim sendo, espera-se que a universidade assuma seu papel ativo no fortalecimento do SUS.
