Previous issue date: 2017-07-10 / As pontes rolantes e suas vigas de rolamento s?o componentes essenciais de v?rias opera??es industriais e de outros segmentos. Cada ponte e suas vigas de rolamento formam um sistema estrutural mec?nico de manuseio de material. Apesar desses equipamentos serem atualmente muito utilizados em galp?es industriais, existem pouqu?ssimos trabalhos e pesquisas destinados ao dimensionamento de suas vigas. Com o intuito de auxiliar profissionais e estudantes da ?rea de estruturas met?licas a realizar as verifica??es do dimensionamento das vigas de rolamento em a?o, este trabalho apresenta os crit?rios de c?lculo necess?rios ao dimensionamento destas vigas segundo a NBR 8800 (ABNT, 2008). Os par?metros de c?lculo contemplam os procedimentos de determina??o das solicita??es e resist?ncias de projeto, a verifica??o dos estados-limites ?ltimos e de servi?o, as verifica??es das for?as localizadas e de fadiga, e o dimensionamento de enrijecedores soldados ? alma do perfil das vigas de rolamento. Ao final, desenvolveu-se uma planilha no programa comercial Excel (Microsoft Corporation), para fins did?ticos e acad?micos, com a metodologia de c?lculo abordada. Para a aferi??o do programa utilizou-se quatro exemplos dispon?veis na literatura al?m de um exemplo did?tico de viga de rolamento dimensionada pela NBR 8800 (ABNT, 2008). / Cranes and their crane runway girder are essential components of various industrial operations and other segments. Each crane and its crane runway girder form a mechanical structural system of material handling. Although the equipment is widely used in industrial buildings, there are very few papers and researches in the sizing phase of beams. In order to assist professionals and students in the area of steel structures to carry out the verification of the dimensioning of the crane runway girder with bracing between supports, this paper presents the following criteria of the project according to NBR 8800 (ABNT, 2008). The objectives of this very research include the procedure for determining project loading demand and project resistances, a verification of the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state, localized and fatigue strength checks, and the design of stiffeners welded to the web of the profile of the crane runway beams. In the end, a spreadsheet was developed for didactic and academic purposes through Excel, a commercial applet (Microsoft Corporation), with a calculation methodology addressed. For a calibration of the applet, four examples among the specific literature were considered, beware of this, the concept of crane runway girder dimensioned by NBR 8800 (ABNT, 2008) was also evaluated.
