The trend in today's civil engineering are growing demands for quality and comfort constructed buildings and spaces in them. This trend causes a change in the approach to designing buildings and building new buildings. One of the main directions great importance is attached dedicated reconstruction of buildings and their technical adjustments to meet the ever increasing demands being norms and laws. One of the most monitored parameters are thermal-technical characteristics of objects - i.e. better quality means saving on heating costs. In this connection there is a big trend of the modern construction industry and building insulation, mainly ETICS systems. Dissertation focuses on the basic (reinforced) layer of the ETICS and examines the effect of low temperatures, acting on the matter in the implementation of the system, the properties of this layer. This coating is one of the key elements of the system, which more or less determines the quality and durability of the system. The first part deals with the current state of the problem and generally insulation systems, basic types and the advantages and disadvantages of these systems. In the main part of the work is solution focused work, its objectives and methodology for testing materials using laboratory tests and are mentioned outputs of experiments in terms of results. The final section addresses the evaluation of the data and results and output for construction practice. The theme of work was also addressed in the specific research. The works are also numerical and graphical attachments to records of experiments and calculations.

The aim of the master thesis is the assessment of the economic effectivity of thermal insulation with the state incentives in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. In the master thesis, the issue of investment, the possibilities of state funding of the construction industry, a detailed analysis of national funding programs aimed at promoting thermal insulation and the characteristics of thermal insulation contact system will be discussed with the focus on the design, realization management of the building and material possibilities. The output of the master thesis will be a proposal of a possible solution of thermal insulation contact system on a reference object. The financing of the investment will be compared in case of investment based on own resources or a bank loan, with the final assessment of economic efficiency with the use of insulation subsidy programs in the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.

The aforesaid compound is situated on an actual estate in a built-in area of the city of Brno, cadastral community of Královo Pole. The building functions as an accommodation for students of the University of Defence. The building is divided in three parts – two of them function as an accommodation, the third one incorporates conveniences of the hall of residence (boarding, administration, storeroom, library). The accommodation part has 5 floors in total, the conveniences are situated on the 2 above-ground floors and the basement. The compound is a wall construction with the ETICS weatherproofing insulation, combined with columns in the central section. The ceiling construction is made of reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete ceilings. The roof is flat and vegetative. The diploma thesis includes architectural study, preparatory works and specializations in the field of founding.

Floor plan of multifunctional building is rectangle shaped. There are three different establishments in this building. Most of space of ground floor and first floor is used as parking. Rest of space of ground floor and second floor is used as café, hairdresser and store. There are eight separate offices and sanitary facilities, break rooms, storages and servers. The supporting construction of building is made of reinforced concrete column system and ceiling slabs. The building is based on reinforced concrete slab and than there is a flat roof above the building.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to develop the design documentation for the construction of hotel on the outskirts Chlum, the district of of the city of Zlín. The building is designed as free-standing in a sloping terrain on plot no. 1262. The hotel is situated with a barrier-free entrance to the southwest. The building has a basement and 3 above-ground floors. There are a total of 14 rooms and 3 suites, one of which is designes as a barrier free. In the hotel there is restaurant, wellness and gym. The internal loadbearing masonry is made of SILKA lime-sand blocks. The ceiling structure is designed from SPIROLL prestressed concrete floor slab. My Masters project is titled Energy-efficient guest house in the city of Lednice. The assignment is to design a building, which meets contemporary standards of energy efficiency. There are three parts of the project. The first part consists of designing the structure of the building. The building is L-shaped with pitched roof, single-storey with attic. There is a pool with sauna, restaurant with kitchen and main hall with entrance and reception on the ground floor. At the attic there are twenty two dwelling units for guests, common room and staff facilities. The main entrance is oriented towards east. The building is masonry system from sand-lime blocks with prefabricated reinforced concrete floor slabs and roof is made of timber roof truss. The building facade is insulated by ETICS. In the second part, there are designed HVAC, lightning and shading, rainwater usage and photovoltaic power station. In the third, there is a calculation of energy need for heating and cooling using monthly balance mehtod. The project is designed with support of AutoCAD, Revit and DEKsoftT softwares.
