The main objective of this thesis is the formulation of the suggestions for the improvement of the company´s financial situation by using methods of the financial analysis. This presenting thesis was created for a concrete advertising company in Brno. The contribution of this thesis is not only a formulation of concrete suggestions but also a detailed financial analyse for the period of ten following years (which this company has not been doing before) to gain valuable information which can be used to improve the decision making process of the company.

This master's thesis evaluates the financial situation of Tiskárny Havlíčkův Brod a.s. in the years 2004 - 2006. There is performed the financial analysis and the analysis of current situation of company on the basis of theoretic pieces of knowledge from literature. The analysis is the basis for improvement suggestions of present financial situation of the company.

This thesis assess the financial situation of the company ELSEREMO, a.s. in the years 2001 to 2005 at the basis of selected methods of the financial analysis. It includes proposals of possible solutions of identified problems which should result in the improvement of financial situation of the firm in future years.

This thesis evaluates the financial and economic situation of the company RELYFO, spol. s r.o. in the time period of 2004 –2006 by way of prime financial analysis methods. It provides suggestions and recomendations for an improvement of the company´s current position with regards to company opportunities and strategy areas of its future enterprise.

Purpose of financial analysis is to evaluate overall financial and economic situation of the company. The financial analysis points out not only strengths, but also helps to find out possible discrepancies in financial economy. Conclusions of financial analysis are used for investment and financial decision-making process and also to inform owners, creditors and other concerned party.

This thesis evaluates the economic situation of the company PANAV, a.s Senice na Hané in the years 2005-2007. My thesis comprises four parts-evaluation of the present state of the problems, tehoretical base, the analysis of the current situation of the company and its improvement suggestions. I achieved my aim through the analysis of the general and subject neighbourhood and trough the teoretical konowledge from literature. I used selected methods ot the financial analysis. The result of the economic health check of the PANAV, a.s. is the basis for its improvement suggesitons. It is placed in the fourth part of my thesis.

This master`s thesis assess the financial health of the company in 2004-2007 with using suitable methods of the financial analysis. It also suggests convenient proposals for strengthen financial situation of the company.

The objective of this master´s thesis is evaluation of the financial situation and the efficiency of a company. The theoretical part is focused on the elementary methods of the financial analysis and the Economic Value Added as an efficiency measure. This theory is then applied to a particular company. The practical part contains calculation of selected ratios of the financial analysis and the Economic Value Added. The entire financial situation of the company is evaluated on the basis of results, included recommendation of appropriate deficiencies.

Diploma thesis is intended on a financial situation of the company in 2004 - 2007. Financial analysis has been applied in this work. New results have been mentioned in the first part of the thesis. The analysis builds up on these results. The aim of the work is to improve the situation in the company Střecha.

Tato diplomová práce hodnotí finanční situaci podniku společnosti ABC v období let 2005 – 2008 pomocí vybraných metod finanční analýzy. Zjišťuje problémy a navrhuje možná opatření, jež povedou v budoucnu ke zlepšení stávající finanční situace podniku.
