Výskyt sociálně patologických jevů u dětí ve vztahu k zaměstnanosti členů rodiny / Appearance of socially-pathological events of children in relation to unemployment in the family.

KOMRSOVÁ, Jitka January 2007 (has links)
In my diploma work on the topic {\clqq}Appearance of socially-pathological events of children in relation to unemployment in the family``. I concentrated on finding out connections between employment of parents, appearance of socially-pathological events of their children and their pocket money. The basic complex was formed by respondents at the age of 15 - 20 years who live in the region of Klatovy, on a scale of 200 respondents. The aim of my theoratical part was a summary of information about the family, its housekeeping, about socially - pathological events, unemplayment and spending leisure time of children. In my practical part I tried to find connections between the appearance of socially - pathological events, unemployment of parents and the pocket money of children. The importance of my diploma work is especially in the possibilities to inform parents, teachers, educators and the public, which are interested in bringing up, about the proven results from the research work. These results showed that the socially - pathological events, have the connection with unemployment of parents, because their appearance was 30 per cent bigger in the family with unemployed parents. Employed parents more often give their children pocket money that leads to increased smoking. The amount of the pocket money doesn{\crq}t influence the appearance of socially - pathological events because the important statistical difference in the amount of the pocket money in the group of respondents with the pocket money and the appearance of socially - pathological events in the general file wasn{\crq}t proved. Respondents who have experience with the unemployment of their parents are less satisfied in the family. Employed parents spend more leisure time with their children in the active way. These established facts can influence parents in their unbringing of their children. Knowledge and appreciation of connections of above - mentioned factors can lead up educators to the prevention of socially pathological events of children.

Rodí se během krize více dětí? Příklad Spojených států amerických / Are more children being born during economic recessions? The example of the United States of America

Mihalko, Jan January 2013 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the issue of individuals' preferences regarding the acquisition of a child during the business cycle expressed in unemployment rates for men and women. Fixed effects model involving robust estimates of standard deviations on a panel dataset tested for the period 1980-2012 confirmed the significance of the relationship between sex-specific unemployment rates and fertility rate of the United States of America. The results of the analysis show a negative relationship documenting pro-cyclical nature of the fertility. There is a less willingness of couples to conceive a child with the growth in unemployment. It does not show the prevalence of substitution effect of reducing opprtunity costs for women during the recession over the effect of reduction in income. Among other statistically significant variables that affect fertility belong the degree of attainment of university education, the poverty rate and abortion rate.

Proces přijímání zákona o dětské skupině: Případová studie intervence aktérů. / The Legislative Process of the Bill on the Children Group. A Case Study of the Intervention of the Participants.

Jirků, Olga January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with an implementation of a new public policy tool - child care in the children's group - particularly it examines its origin, evolution and the reasons for its implementation. As the "Children's Group Act" became a new form of the childcare (in the Czech Republic), my participation in the legislation process of the bill adoption served as a motivation for the topic selection of this thesis. The opening part introduces the topic, specifically it studies the past and the present childcare system within the current area of the Czech Republic. Further it acquaints us with tools and remedies allowing for a greater harmonization of a family and work life of parents of infants. In other words, there are discussed theoretical concepts of a private work life harmonization of parents and concepts of equal opportunities of women and men. Moreover, the thesis introduces participants who were entering the negotiation and the adoption processes of the bill in question, either directly or indirectly. The aim of the thesis is to present a case study that would characterize both, the adoption process of the bill and the participants' determination of the final form of the act.
