Master’s paper deals with the analysis and generalization of the models and methods for theoretical strategy development of different authors. The impact of five competitive powers on the activities of the farmer’s farm and enhancement of competitive advantage is investigated and evaluated in the paper. The analyses of the outer environment, SWOT and inside factors of individual field-crop cultivation farms of Mažeikiai region, have been performed and applied for competitive strategy development. The paper deals with the elements of competitive strategy development methods for medium-sized individual field-crop cultivation farms, which apply to the competitive strategy development for a particular field-crop cultivation farm. The target of the scientific paper raised by the author - analysis and application of the rules of competitive strategy theory to individual field-crop cultivation farms and preparation of a competitive strategy of these farms – has been reached.
