This master thesis presents the demand for the knowledge management in the current organizations, where this subject started to have prominence in the activities of the organization, but that many times this is a secundary goal in the strategic plain because the demand of financial investments in the choice and an implantation of the adjusted technologies, added the demand for training and qualification of the human resources. A different boarding is presented in this master thesis, where thematic of the technological management of the knowledge and tools for this end they constitute the line of called research technological management. The technological management is treated in this master thesis jointly with the concept of free software. Where a research in the diverse existing solutions of software under the philosophy is become fullfilled free software for the management of the knowledge. And evidences it hypothesis that is possible to adopt practical of knowledge management being used itself of the union and the customization of the tools free software. In such a way, is propitiated that any organization can act in the technological management and apply the practical ones and politics of knowledge management is in a micron-company or a great corporation. Similar to apply the research and to get resulted, a case study it is carried through in the Superior Course of Technology in Industrial Automation of the Federal Center of Technological Education of Santa Catarina (CEFET-SC). The course was chosen because it has the same demand for politics of knowledge management by the technological tools and also, for being the environment of work of the author. Throughout the document the motivations for the work, the theoretical recital, the study scene are presented, still, it is presented research and the development of the considered an innovative model management for the course and other organizations. The master thesis is finished with a story on the reached results and the conclusions gotten with this project / A presente dissertação aborda a temática da gestão tecnológica, onde a pesquisa é focada na seleção das ferramentas tecnológicas software livre que melhor se adequam à promoção da gestão do conhecimento de uma organização. Este projeto de dissertação apresenta a demanda pela gestão do conhecimento nas organizações atuais, onde este assunto passou a ter destaque nas atividades das mesmas, mas que m itas vezes é relegado a um segundo plano pela necessidade de investimentos financeiros vultosos na escolha e implantação das tecnologias apropriadas, somada à demanda por treinamento e capacitação dos recursos humanos. Apresenta-se nesta dissertação uma abordagem diferente, em que a temática da gestão do conhecimento e as ferramentas tecnológicas para este fim constituem a linha de pesquisa denominada gestão tecnológica. A gestão tecnológica é tratada nesta dissertação concomitantemente com o conceito de software livre, na qual é realizada uma pesquisa das diversas soluções de software existentes sob a filosofia software livre para a gestão do conhecimento. Ademais, constata-se a hipótese de que é possível adotar práticas de gestão do conhecimento por meio da união e da customização das ferramentas software livre e, dessa forma, propicia-se a qualquer organização o poder de atuar na gestão tecnológica e aplicar as práticas e políticas de gestão do conhecimento, seja em uma micro-empresa ou em uma grande corporação. Com a finalidade de comprovação e de obtenção de resultados, um estudo de caso foi realizado no Curso Superior de Tecnologia em Automação Industrial do Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Santa Catarina (CEFET-SC). Este curso foi escolhido visto que o mesmo apresenta uma demanda por políticas de gestão do conhecimento sustentadas pelas ferramentas tecnológicas e também por ser o ambiente de trabalho do acadêmico autor desta dissertação. Ao longo do documento, são apresentadas as motivações para o trabalho, a fundamentação teórica, o cenário de estudo e, ainda, apresenta-se a pesquisa e o desenvolvimento do modelo de gestão inovadora proposto para o curso e para outras organizações. Por fim, relata-se os resultados alcançados e as conclusões obtidas com esta investigação
