The master's thesis deals with the topic of the use of artificial intelligence for managerial decision making in the firm. This thesis contains proposal for an application of neural networks and fuzzy logic for firm's product evaluation and recommendation for selection of competent produts.

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím moderních metod analýz a modelování pro hodnocení dodavatelů a výběr optimální nabídky. V této práci je využito teorie fuzzy logiky. Dále je vytvořený model porovnán se současným modelem hodnocení zákazníků.

This master’s thesis is focused on the issues of utilization of artificial intelligence resources for decision-making support in company and is focused on detection of the client’s solvency for the purposes of loan providing. Fuzzy logic, expert systems and analysis in MS Excel are used here.

This thesis deals with models of investment strategies in an environment of capital markets. Based on the research environment of financial markets, analysis of available financial products and the help of supporting information resources, there are developed and simulated three different investment strategies – risk dynamic strategy, medium balanced strategy and a stable conservative strategy. The output of work is an investment questionnaire, which is used to select appropriate investment strategies, and three models of investment strategies, including evaluation. Investment evaluation itself is performed by fuzzy logic.

This thesis deals with the design of fuzzy system that can evaluate supplier of spare parts for service. The result should be applicable to a company Iveta Šťastníková - car and tire service. Primarily it should simplify operations associated with the selection of appropriate spare parts, tools and other equipment needed to operate with car service station. First, we introduce the theoretical basis for the paper, and then we go to the present state and the analysis itself. The result is a proposed solution which should correspond to the needs of the owner.

This thesis focuses on the problem and application of artificial intelligence in company decision making. Especially, the use of fuzzy logic in order to select most suitable product which meets a number of parameters. Custom solution are created in the Matlab development environment, and also in MS Excel.

The diploma thesis employs modern analysing and simulating methods. It enables the application of fuzzy logic in supplier selection and evaluation of its potential risks to construction companies. This work is aimed at defining the problem and determining the overall and particular goals, namely theoretical description of the principle of used artificial intelligence theory, problem description and analysis, current situation as-sessment, proposed solution implementation and evaluation of proposed solution con-tribution.
