Defesa: Curitiba, 30/03/2016 / Inclui referências : f. 203-214 / Resumo; Nesta dissertação, investigamos a trajetória de vida do artista paranaense Poty Lazzarotto (1924-1998) a partir de uma perspectiva histórico-sociológica. Desse modo, adotamos os referenciais teóricos e/ou metodológicos dos sociólogos Norbert Elias e Georg Simmel, dos historiadores Giovanni Levi e Carlo Ginzburg, do filósofo Guy Debord, do antropólogo brasileiro Paulo Guérios, e nos inspiramos no método da abordagem microhistórica. Poty Lazzarotto nasceu em Curitiba, mas passou a maior parte de sua vida no Rio de Janeiro, voltando a residir em sua cidade natal ao final de sua trajetória, embora nunca tenha perdido de todo o vínculo com Curitiba. A partir da análise de sua vida e de alguns produtos artísticos, almejamos entender que vínculos ligaram a obra de Poty Lazzarotto às redes formais e informais de poder em que ele esteve envolvido. Para realizar este objetivo lançamos mão de três níveis de análise complementares. O primeiro deles se inclina ao exame das obras em que o artista esteve envolvido, como murais, painéis, gravuras e ilustrações, tarefa auxiliada pela ampliação do dossiê de fontes externas disponível e pelo estabelecimento da cronologia desses produtos artísticos. Além disso, recuperamos a trajetória de sociabilidade do artista, mediante a reconstituição das redes sociais, principalmente as redes formais e informais de poder em que o artista se inseriu ao longo do tempo. Por fim, traçamos a dinâmica particular a algumas das diferentes configurações sociais em que ele esteve envolvido, e confrontamos esta análise microhistórica e microsociológica às dinâmicas em escala macro que presidiram a construção de sentido por parte dos atores vinculados a essas redes sociais. Desse modo, argumentamos que, em quase todas as diferentes épocas analisadas de sua vida, pode ser constatado como a dinâmica das redes de interdependência infletiu as obras de Poty Lazzarotto em dadas direções, havendo concretas correspondências entre o nascer e cessar de dadas relações e certos elementos pictóricos. Além disso, também demonstramos como as redes sociais são um fator relevante para a compreensão das chances de vida disponíveis ao artista em diferentes momentos. Ao final desta pesquisa, também exploramos as relações entre arte, imaginabilidade e certas redes de poder. Assim, propomos que, ao final da vida do artista, determinados produtos artísticos colaboraram para a difusão de uma certa imagem de Poty Lazzarotto que correspondia tanto aos interesses do artista como aos da elite política de Curitiba, embora a reconstituição integral das produções realizadas na região de Curitiba remeta mais para uma outra imagem do artista e de sua obra. Desdobrando-se como um estudo de uma trajetória de vida que visa à abordagem de redes sociais, tal como da constelação de ações recíprocas em diferentes tempos e espaços nos quais se inscreve uma vida, este trabalho contribui para uma nova visão sobre a vida e a obra de Poty Lazzarotto, relacionando-as a indivíduos, grupos, atores, fluxos culturais e fenômenos sociais mais amplos. Espetáculo. / Abstract: In this dissertation, we investigate the life trajectory of the Paraná artist Poty Lazzarotto (1924-1998) from a historical-sociological perspective. In this way, we adopt the theoretical and/or methodological references of the sociologists Norbert Elias and Georg Simmel, of the historians Giovanni Levi and Carlo Ginzburg, of the philosopher Guy Debord, of the Brazilian anthropologist Paulo Guérios, and we are inspired by the method of the microhistorical approach. Poty Lazzarotto was born in Curitiba, but spent most of his life in Rio de Janeiro, returning to live in his hometown at the end of his career, although he never lost any link with Curitiba. From the analysis of his life and some artistic products, we want to understand what links have linked Poty Lazzarotto's work to the formal and informal networks of power in which he was involved. In order to achieve this goal, we have used three complementary levels of analysis. The first one is inclined to examine the works in which the artist was involved, such as murals, panels, engravings and illustrations, a task aided by the expansion of the dossier from external sources available and the establishment of the chronology of these artistic products. In addition, we recover the trajectory of sociability of the artist, through the reconstitution of social networks, especially the formal and informal networks of power in which the artist has inserted over time. Finally, we drew particular dynamics to some of the different social configurations in which he was involved, and we confronted this microhistorical and microsociological analysis with the macro-scale dynamics that presided over the construction of meaning by the actors linked to these social networks. In this way, we argue that, in almost all the different analyzed epochs of his life, it can be seen how the dynamics of interdependence networks inflicted the works of Poty Lazzarotto in given directions, having concrete correspondences between the birth and cease of given relations and certain Pictorial elements In addition, we also demonstrate how social networks are a relevant factor for understanding the life chances available to the artist at different times. At the end of this research, we also explore the relationships between art, imaginability and certain networks of power. Thus, we propose that, at the end of the artist's life, certain artistic products collaborated in the diffusion of a certain image of Poty Lazzarotto that corresponded both to the interests of the artist and to those of the political elite of Curitiba, although the complete reconstitution of the productions made in the region Of Curitiba refers more to another image of the artist and his work. Departing as a study of a life trajectory that aims to approach social networks, as well as the constellation of reciprocal actions in different times and spaces in which a life is inscribed, this work contributes to a new vision about life and Poty Lazzarotto's work, relating them to individuals, groups, actors, cultural flows and broader social phenomena.
