Nesse sentido, este estudo analisa a trajetória educacional de dezenove alunos negros que, durante os anos de 1999 a 2001, estiveram regularmente matriculados nos diversos cursos de graduação da Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP. As dificuldades encontradas por eles na escola, e posteriormente na Universidade, foram as mais variadas, desde as de caráter econômico, de gênero, até as práticas de discriminação racial, esta última oscilando entre formas sutis, ou abertamente racistas / Abstract: The dissertation aims to deal with the problem of the exclusion of black people from the Public University in Brazil. Therefore, this work analyzes the education paths of nineteen blacks young womem and mem who were enrolled as regular students in several undergraduate courses at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) between 1999 and 2001. They have faced a number of hardships from elementary school, and high school to college such as those related to daily subsistence, gender relations and practices of racial discrimination, which can be defined as hidden discrimination, which can be defined as hidden racism or ouvert racism / Mestrado / Mestre em História
