Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo central levantar e analisar a produção intelectual da Geografia brasileira dedicada ao estudo do território em sua escala nacional. Para tanto, serão apresentados os autores, os temas de estudos e propostas políticos-territoriais vinculadas na Revista Brasileira de Geografia (RBG), periódico do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), entre 1939 e 1945. Tem-se como hipótese que a produção intelectual da Geografia brasileira forneceu, através de variados estudos sobre o território e a população, base para a implementação de uma política de integração e construção nacional no período supracitado. / The present work has as objective central to raise and to analyze the intellectual production of Brazilian Geography dedicated to the study of the territory in its national scale. For in such a way, the authors, the subjects of studies and tied politician-territorial proposals in the Revista Brasileira de Geografia (RBG), periodic of the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) will be presented, between 1939 and 1945. He has yourself as hypothesis that the intellectual production of Brazilian Geography supplied, through varied studies on the territory and the population, base for the implementation of one politics of integration and national construction in the above-mentioned period.
