_________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The present study analyzes the construction of the citizen, the subjectivity and conjugality of “men as any others” that kept steady relationships with other “common men”. The field work for the development of this research was carried out in the cities of Buenos Aires and Brasilia. Such parallel between those cities from distinct countries was initially constructed by the proper Argentine natives when of my first stay there, and later it was reconstructed by the author by the time of the analysis of the data, having the intention of making that the experience of interpretation of the homo couple histories reflected and stood out the specificities of both the localities. Thus, I deal, in this Thesis, with questions such as fidelity, sex and love, open and not open relationships, gay sociability, respect, tolerance and recognition of the union, inspired in a perspective that it tries to bring out intersectional elements of the analysis, such as, gender, color/ethnics/race/nationality, social class/social strata, religion, age/generational group.
