Mortalidade perinatal em hospital terciário da Região Norte do Brasil

Realizou-se um estudo do tipo transversal descritivo; a amostra foi composta por 48 gestantes e conceptos, sendo considerado o período gestacional de 22 semanas ou mais. Os dados da pesquisa foram coletados de prontuários, por meio de entrevistas, livro de registro da triagem obstétrica, neonatal e sala de parto. Variáveis relacionadas: a) parto; b) gestante e c) concepto. Na análise das variáveis utilizou-se o software EPI-INFO 3.5.1. Constatou-se taxa de mortalidade perinatal de 35,68/1000; constatou-se que 51,1% dos conceptos eram masculinos e 48,9% femininos; óbitos perinatais, 52,08% foram óbitos neonatais (até 7 dias de nascido) e 47,9% foram natimortos; 29,2% pesavam menos de 2,5kg e 70,8% pesavam mais de 2,5kg. No diagnóstico dos conceptos observou-se que: 47,9% eram óbitos fetais, seguidos por má formação (20,8%), prematuridade (16,7%), septicemia (12,5%) e membrana hialina (2,1%). Quanto à variável gestante: a maioria dos partos ocorreu em ambiente hospitalar e 60,9% foram vaginais. A infecção urinária e o parto prematuro são as causas mais freqüentes de mortalidade perinatal, seguidas por eclampsia e coriamnionite. Perfil das gestantes: jovens, não fumantes, nulíparas ou prímiparas e número de consultas de pré-natal insuficiente (3-4), renda familiar de até 1 salário mínimo, mais de 4 anos de escolaridade e que não trabalhavam fora do lar. Conclui-se que a taxa de mortalidade perinatal é elevada no Hospital de referência na Região Norte do Brasil quando comparada com outros estudos similares. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / Identify possible causes of perinatal mortality in a High Risk of Pregnancy Reference Hospital, in Porto Velho County, Rondonia State, in 2010. Data of research were collected from check-in registers, through interviews, an obstetric trial register book, neonatal and delivery room. Variable related: a) deliver; b) pregnant and c) conceived babies. In variable analysis it was used software EPI-INFO 3.5.1. It was proved a perinatal mortality tax of 35,68/1000; it was proved that 51, 1% of conceived babies were male and 48,9% female; perinatal obits, 52,08% were neonatal death (until 7 days of life) and 47,9% were stilborn; 29,2% weighed less than 2,5kg and 70,8% weighed more than 2,5kg. In the diagnose of conceived ones it was observed that: 47,9% were fetal death followed by malformation (20,8%), prematurity (16,7%) septicemia (12,5%) hyaline membrane (2,1%). About variable pregnancy: the majority of deliveries occurred in hospital atmosphere and 60,9% were through vagina. The urinary infection and premature deliveries are the most frequent causes of perinatal mortality, followed by eclampsia and coriamnionite. Profile of the pregnants: young, non-smoking, nulipars or primipars and numbers of consults of insufficient pre-natal (3-4), familiar gain of up to 1 minimum wage, up to one year of school and the ones that do not work outside home. It was concluded that perinatal mortality tax is elevated in Hospital of reference in North Region of Brazil when it is compared with other similar studies.
