The duo emerged in the late 1930s is known for making satires and parodies that primarily involve the topic of politics. To analyze the specific radio production, was required searching the trajectory of double through documents such as press clippings from newspapers and magazines that somehow ended up reviewing some points raised in pre-existing biographies. Also it is necessary a theoretical discussion of humor and laughter, a theme that permeates the entire artistic production of the duo, as well as his close relationship with the figure of the circus clown. Finally the artifice of parody, the relationship with the audience of talk shows, and other signs relating to performance were analyzed. / Este trabalho propõe uma análise da performance humorística da dupla Alvarenga e Ranchinho em seus programas de rádio. A dupla surgida no final dos anos de 1930 é conhecida por tecer sátiras e paródias que envolvam principalmente o tema da política. Para analisar a produção radiofônica em específico, necessitou-se revistar a trajetória da dupla através de documentos de imprensa como recortes de jornais e revistas o que acabou revisando de certa maneira alguns pontos levantados em biografias pré-existentes. Faz-se necessário também uma discussão teórica sobre o humor e o riso, tema que permeia toda a produção artística da dupla, assim como sua estreita relação com a figura do clown circense. Por fim, o artifício da paródia, a relação com a plateia dos programas de auditório e demais signos relativos à performance foram analisados.
