Through the content analysis of a sample of reports that approach this subject, we verify that, in two of the four categories analyzed, there is preponderance of Peace Journalism, while in the other two there is preponderance of Violence Journalism. As theoretical support, in one side, the thoughts of Johan Galtung are used, which formulate the requirements of this current of thoughts about the contemporary journalistic practice, and in the other side, the literature of Adorno Zaluar and others were used, which analyze violence and criminality in the national context.
