The master’s thesis deals with a project to implement a new information system and complete recovery of computer equipment Chladservis s.r.o. Project management methods and procedures defined by IPMA (International Project Management Association) are used in this thesis.

Master's thesis focuses on matters of project directing. It presents and compares two most used project management methods. Then it analyses current project in selected company and based on output from first part an optimizing proposal is created. In the end practical added value and economical benefits of proposal are presented.

Dlabajová, P. Methodology for management of ICT projects MENDELU. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. This diploma thesis deals with the implementation and optimization methodolo-gies of ICT projects at MENDELU. The scope of this work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part will explain the issue of projects including project management phases. In addition, there will be explained the methodology of project ma-nagement, including their differences. In addition, there will be described the pos-sibility of project management software support. The second part deals with the description of the Institute of Information Technologies and describing the current state of which could be fundamental weaknesses of the current project management. It was subsequently developed its own methodology for managing ICT projects at MENDELU.

The diploma thesis focuses on the concept of a project management plan in the municipality Sobůlky. It summarizes the theoretical knowledge according to the IPMA standard and applies them in the proposal section. It contains a questionnaire survey conducted in the municipality and a subsequent comparison of the findings with the proposal of the family folklore afternoon plan.

This work is aimed on creating plug-in module for the system Atlassian JIRA. The module was developed based on the requirements of real company and provided as a project corresponding with business processes. The main objective was to extend the functionality of used system and to design project delivery process modifications for projects of similar type.

This master’s thesis describes life cycle phases management of the project Implementation of the project culture in the MoroSystems company from the perspective of a project manager. The thesis comprehensively describes the project from its inception, through planning, implementation up to handover of the outcomes to the customer, completion and evaluation. The thesis contains attachments which document meetings with the customer and project management artifacts created at different stages of the project.

The subject and main aim of my diploma thesis is an application of selected project management methodology (IPMA) for analysing, design and implementation ERP system Money S5 to the particular client. Project is created in environment of implementation projects designed by software company CÍGLER SOFTWARE a.s. located in Bratislava. This thesis could be used as a suggestion of appropriate steps for managing future implementing projects in mentioned company.

Goal of the thesis is a detail description of the project methodology within the Telecommunication Company and pointing out the differences between current existing methodology and methodology standards. The thesis is not just simple description of the project methodology but addition to that it tries to (in given time & material framework) design new solutions for the project process optimalization. The aim of the proposed solutions is to increase competitiveness of the company on the market in current dynamic environment. Thesis has two main parts, theoretical and practical one. Theoretic part deals with general project methodologies and compares theirs main features and characteristics. One of the chapters is also describing Six Sigma process methodology, that will play a major role in the practical part of the thesis. In practical part, first of all I am introducing the company Vodafone Czech republic which allowed me the creation of the diploma thesis. Following chapter is focused on existing project methodology, project life-cycle and tools that the company uses in day-to-day practice. Next chapter deals with the detail analysis of the project process and by using of real samples of the company projects I try to find the optimalization of the project process in order to speed up the time to market and thus provide faster reaction to the market conditions and needs. Final chapter provides a summary and conclusion of the work done. One of objectives of practical part of the thesis is to perform an analysis of current state of project management in selected organization. Based on its specific environment and identified opportunities for improvement it follows up with formalization of recommended design and way of implementation of alternative approach for project management which uses appropriate agile elements but also reflects specific needs and limits of the organization. In its theoretical part the thesis describes basic terminology related to management of projects and portfolios, selected models of project lifecycle, popular standards and methods of traditional project management, core philosophy of agile and selected practices of agile project management.

This thesis deals with the subject of project management, primarily from the viewpoint of the development of a tool for project management support using the PRINCE2 methodology and the Unicorn Universe information system. The subject of the theoretical part is the definition of a project and project management and a description and a comparison of the most widely used project management standards, PRINCE2, PMI and IPMA. Subsequently, the emphasis is put on a detailed description of PRINCE2 with regard to its use in the next parts of the work. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis the chapters are devoted to Unicorn Universe and to Unicorn Enterprise System Powered Company, which is a methodology used for company management. In the practical part, the author followed the recommended 4-phases process of the development of a new methodology set defined by the UESPC methodology; inception, elaboration, construction and transition. By means of the analysis in inception and elaboration stages and creation of A4 and High Level Concept documents, which describe specific ways how to implement various elements of PRINCE2into the Unicorn Universe, and the subsequent production of project management tool prototype, the author worked his way up to the construction stage, in which he designed and created definitions of meta artifacts and scripts for their later implementation in the final phase, called transition. In this phase metaartifacts were set up. They are templates for management and control artifacts and for other items necessary for the production of the methodological set, a final product of the thesis. At the end of thesis, the automation scripts, as proposed in the previous stage to verify the practical use of the thesis product, were assigned for implementation.
