No. of bitstreams: 1 waldinesilvamiranda.pdf: 1433177 bytes, checksum: 5496066a15798fb6130978635e265781 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2010-11-26 / FAPEMIG - Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Minas Gerais / Partindo de discussões com origem nos Estudos Culturais nota-se uma tendência em levantar questões relativas à emergência de discursos de minorias, destacando a existência de um sistema simbólico no qual a cultura, a ideologia e a linguagem são pensadas a partir de complexas relações de poder. Com base nessas discussões lançaremos nosso olhar em direção às estratégias identitárias utilizadas em intervenções culturais das periferias paulistanas, classificadas desde 2001 como literatura marginal. Tomando como referência o fato de que os escritores da literatura marginal possuem identidades sociais semelhantes e buscam afirmar essas identidades a partir de suas performances literárias e extraliterárias, fazendo sobretudo da palavra, elemento de intervenção política, analisaremos de que modo as relações sociais penetram na linguagem e atingem uma dimensão ideológica que tanto altera o desequilíbrio de forças entre oprimidos e opressores. Também destacaremos tais fatores como constituintes de identidades em processo e como (des)reguladores de um sistema simbólico, no qual a cultura sob uma perspectiva que agrega experiências múltiplas também revela intervenções e mediações por parte desses intelectuais que (re)significam o plano simbólico, são (re)significados por ele e o materializam por meio das práticas comunicativas. Sendo ainda, que além da afirmação identitária insistem na (re)significação do espaço social da periferia, que embora marcado pela falta de oportunidades, passa a ser representado como território de significativas produções culturais. Logo, esses intelectuais utilizam a produção artística e/ou cultural como estratégias de afirmação identitária do sujeito enquanto agente social e produtor de cultura, concomitantemente, criam alternativas à ausência do poder público, à omissão de boa parte da sociedade, à pouca representação artística e à invisibilidade. / Starting from discussions that have oringins in Cultural Studies, a tendency in raising quastions related to the emergency of minorities´ discourse is noticed, highlighting the existence of a symbolic sistem in which the culture, the ideology and the language are thought from complex power relations. Based on these discussions, we will project our focus in the direction of the identity strategies used in cutural interventions of São Paulo city´s suburbs, classified since 2001 as marginal literature. Taking as reference the fact that the writers from the marginal literature have similar social identities and search for an affirmation of these identities from their literary and extra- literary performances, making the word, above all, an element of political intervention, we will analyse in which way the social relations penetrate in the language and achive an ideological dimension that changes so much the imbalance of forces between oppressed and oppressors. We will also highlight these factores as constituents of identities in process and as (dis)regulators of a symbolic sistem in which the culture, under a perspective that aggregates multiples experiences, also reveals interventions and mediations by these intelectuals that (re)mean the symbolic plan and are (re)meant by it and materialize it through the comunicative practices. And even further than the identity affirmation, they insist on the (re)signification of the suburb social space, although marked by the lack of oportunities, it becomes a representation of a siginificative cultural productions territory. So, these intelectuals use the artistic and/or cultural production as identity affirmation strategies of the subject, this being a social agent and a cultural productor, concomitantly, criate alternatives to the absence of the public power, to the omission from a good portion of the society, to the little artistic representation and to the invisibility.
