No. of bitstreams: 1 DISS - Roberio Davi Borges Cunha.pdf: 36775218 bytes, checksum: a1b5fb6816334694e9df3a10cab4c066 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2015-09-01 / CAPES / This study aims to analyze the indigenous teachers’ educational practices who teach at Indigenous Elementary and High School Índio Pedro Máximo de Lima, located in Três Rios village (Marcação-Paraíba, Brazil), through documents observation considering education policy prepared for this ethnic segment. Our proposal is focused on Education field through dialogue with Social Services from Cultural Studies perspective. Theoretical framework embraces studies developed by Moreira & Candau (2012), Bergamaschi (2012) and Santiago et al. (2013), which were part of this research composition, among others. Methodology compels ethnographic qualitative research based on dialogue with authors such as Bogdan & Biklen (1994), Chizotti (2013) and Weller & Pfaff (2011), using semi-structured interview with participant observation performed at research field. We hope that this study, because of its importance, may contribute discussion able to problematize indigenous peoples in the educational field, considering especially Potiguaras’ educational reality, in order to offer a new significance about their contributions to ethnic-racial and Education issues related to social and ethnic diversity. We believe that this research can encourage new understanding possibilities for these peoples in the current educational scenario. / O presente trabalho visa a analisar as práticas educativas de professores/as indígenas da Escola Indígena de Ensino Fundamental e Médio Índio Pedro Máximo de Lima, situada na aldeia Três Rios, em Marcação-PB, através da observação dos documentos em interface com as políticas educacionais elaboradas para este segmento étnico. Nossa proposta se situa no campo da Educação, através do diálogo com o Serviço Social, na perspectiva dos Estudos Culturais. Utilizamos como referencial teórico os estudos desenvolvidos por Moreira & Candau (2012), Bergamaschi (2012) e Santiago et al. (2013), que fizeram parte da composição da pesquisa, dentre outros. Do ponto de vista metodológico, desenvolvemos nosso trabalho com as contribuições da pesquisa qualitativa do tipo etnográfica, a partir do diálogo com os autores Bogdan & Biklen (1994), Chizotti (2013) e Weller & Pfaff (2011), com a utilização de entrevista semiestruturada com observação participante, empreendida por intermédio de uma pesquisa de campo. Esperamos que este estudo, dada a sua relevância, contribua para a promoção de debates que problematizem os povos indígenas no campo educacional, a partir da realidade educativa dos Potiguaras, a fim de ressignificá-los quanto às suas contribuições para a Educação étnico-racial e as questões relativas às diversidades sociais e étnicas, motivando novas possibilidades para se entender estes povos no cenário educacional atual.
