This thesis deals with the selection of an information system for Webnode, which offers on-line services to its customers. The company wants to expand its services and wants to give customers the ability to manage their websites through a mobile application. The thesis deals with the selection of an information system for creating a mobile application. The first chapter of the thesis explains the theoretical starting points that we will use in the practical part. The following chapter introduces the company and its vision, mission, and marketing mix and offers detailed analysis of the company, using a variety of methods. The third chapter deals with problem solving, information system selection and its implementation. At the end of the thesis, the benefits of the solution are summarized.

This diploma thesis focuses on analysis, evaluation and improvement proposals for an information system used by a specific company from the insurance business. The company offers services to insurance companies, such as motor vehicle or property inspection and damage assessment. The first part describes the theory related to the main focus areas of this thesis. The second part contains an overview of the company, its analysis as well as evaluation of the information system used within the company. Finally, a set of proposals will be formulated, based on the outcomes of company and information system evaluation, aiming to simplify company processes and increase company’s productivity.

In the thesis introduction the author describes basic functionality of this reservation system as well as its way of use within the National Heritage Institute. Furthermore, the thesis introduces an empirical research whose purpose is not only to determine necessary system adjustments but also to verify hypotheses outlined by the author. The main part of the thesis deals with a proposal how to solve particular system adjustments which emerged from the survey data.

The third part is focused on design of an information system based on the analysis of uncovered areas in the first part. In the last section is documentation of created an information system.

The diploma thesis deals with the assessment of the information system in the joint-stock company UNIKOM a.s. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter presents the theoretical background necessary to understand the concepts related to this topic in the field of information technology and information systems. This section also presents the analytical tools that were used to elaboration of analysis in the following section. The second chapter of this diploma thesis is focused on the company UNIKOM a.s. and analysis of its internal and external factors and assessment of the information system using selected methods. The output of the second chapter is information about problematic parts of the company and the IS. In the third part, the information obtained in the analysis section is used to create suggestions for improvement of the situation in the company.

This thesis deals with an analysis, selection and proposition of the transformation of the company economic information system. We are talking about company, where the business object is distribution and service of Škoda car. On this analysis is built the following implementation process from the product selection to the final transform of the whole corporation to the economic information system Pohoda from Stormware. This change should help to eliminate the inefficient areas, contribute to increase productivity and thereby consolidate the market status.
