The objective is to analyze the distinguished device of the organization of Teaching Practice in the Institute of Education of Rio de Janeiro in the scope of the formation of a new pedagogic culture: the slogan "reform of the primary teaching through the reform of teachers training"; the Institute of Education of Rio de Janeiro; the Primary School of the Institute of Education, analyzed as a device of the teaching reform for its double configuration as a primary municipal school and as a locus of experimentation, demonstration and practice of the School of Teachers; the Programs of primary education of the Federal District published in 1934 and 1937; and, finally, the device which organize the practice of the future teachers during the periods of Teaching Practice. The documental body was defined in the core of the tensions established between the main actors in the conduction of the narrative: Anísio Teixeira, due to the fact that the Institute of Education of Rio de Janeiro was idealized and created in the scope of the reform carried out by him in the Federal District; and Lourenço Filho, the main actor in this process of implementation of the reform of the training of primary teachers. The core documentation of this work is formed, mainly, by four collections of textual sources: the documents of the Archives Lourenço Filho and Anísio Teixeira of the Center of Research and Documentation of Contemporary History of Brazil of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (CPDOC/FGV); the documents of the Archive of the Superior Institute of Education of Rio de Janeiro; and the journal Archives of the Institute of Education / Este trabalho tem como objeto de estudo a Prática de Ensino na formação de professores primários, compreendendo ser esse o eixo ao redor do qual se organiza o principal dispositivo de renovação da formação de professores do Distrito Federal no período de 1932 a 1937: o Instituto de Educação do Rio de Janeiro. Como objetivo estabelece a análise de dispositivos privilegiados de organização da Prática de Ensino do Instituto de Educação do Rio de Janeiro no âmbito da constituição de uma nova cultura pedagógica: o slogan "reforma do ensino primário pela reforma da formação de professores"; o Instituto de Educação do Rio de Janeiro; a Escola Primária do Instituto de Educação, analisada como um dispositivo da reforma do ensino por sua dupla configuração como escola primária municipal e como escola de experimentação, demonstração e prática da Escola de Professores; os Programas de ensino primário do Distrito Federal publicados em 1934 e 1937; e, por fim, os dispositivos de organização das práticas das professorandas durante os períodos de Prática de Ensino. O corpus documental delineou-se no bojo das tensões estabelecidas entre os atores centrais para a condução da narrativa: Anísio Teixeira, pelo fato de o Instituto de Educação do Rio de Janeiro ter sido idealizado e criado no âmbito da reforma por ele empreendida no Distrito Federal; e Lourenço Filho, por ser o principal ator nesse processo de implementação de reforma da formação do professorado primário.
