Analýza IDS Prahy a Bratislavy / Analysis of integrated transport systems in Prague and Bratislava

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of integrated transport systems in Prague (Prague integrated transport) and in Bratislava (Bratislava integrated transport). The analysis identifies e. g. means of transport in these integrated transport systems, transport and legal relations, practical knowledge from travelling etc. In the conclusion of this theses there are suggested some recommendations in order to improve the system. This analysis showed that the creation of high-quality transport system is quite difficult.

Resume Rendition of public services within integrated transport systems The purpose of my thesis is study of public transportation as a public service, which is provided in integrated transport systems. The thesis is composed of eight chapters and introduction. It introduces in with brief story to the subject of thesis and defines key terms for this thesis. First chapter does not focus on public transportation, but it looks at public service generally. It mentions important kinds of public service in western culture and deals with some of examples in the Czech Republic. Second chapter presents key terms. In first sub chapter term is public transportation. It includes historical development of public transportation and its current situation. Second sub chapter contains development of transit districts around the world and in the Czech Republic. Integrated transport system is also known as transport district or passenger transport executive. In Czech name "Integrovaný dopravní systém"is used, which stands for integrated transportation system. Last sub chapter is about such system in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, which is called Prague integrated transport (PIT). Integration of urban transport to integrated transport system is also analysed. Next part describes innovations which are useful for passengers and electronic ticketing systems. Goal is to identify these innovative trends and benchmark success in their introduction in chosen cities. This This Master´s Thesis deals with the problems of the integrated transport system in the South Bohemian Region. After the explanation of the concept the integrated transport system follows the specification of the transport systems, the transport divisions and short introduction with the legislative framework. Further in my Master´s thesis I describe two chosen efficient and sophisticated integrated transport systems in the Czech Republic. Next part of this work deals with the current traffic situation in the South Bohemian Region. It follows the prices comparison for the tickets in the local transport and analysis the connection in chosen towns in the South Bohemian Region. The aim of this work is to make a suggestion of the integrated transport system, chose the model, tariffs and prices for the tickets. In the last part of this work I pay attention to the detected weaknesses and I suggest their possible solution.

The main objective of this thesis is to answer the question of the suitable future use of Masaryk Railway Station in Prague from many aspects. The theoretical part of thesis is dealing with the history of railways in Prague and the Station. Then it is explained the principle of the integrated transport systems and the inclusion of the railways as the spinal transport for suburban transport. In the analytical part, there is briefly introduced the cause of the Station future and then this question is evaluated by three disciplines. These are methods of city logistics, urban solutions and the significance of the Station from the cultural point of view.

The aim of this research study is to analyse the demand for public transport on the route Zliv-Ceske Budejovice. Its main aim is to figure out whether comuters prefer public transport to personal transport and what effect does that make on the environment. The analysis was based on findings both prior and posterior demand. The basis for the processing methodology and study of scientific literature is held with a focus on transport and related topics. An integral part of the methodology process is quality data obtained from residents and those moving to session Zliv-Ceske Budejovice. The method used, allows us to analyse the differences between real and desired transport demands. The results of this work will help us manage public transport efficiently, in order to increase the attractiveness of public transport in the session and as a consequence, the negative environmental impacts of other modes of transport.

This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of building a tram track between the Prague districts of Suchdol and Bohnice. It summarizes basic facts about public transport in general and in Prague, mentions the organization of the Prague Integrated Transport system and its financing. The practical part deals with the specific project of the tram track connecting Suchdol and Bohnice using the already designed tracks Kobylisy - Bohnice and Podbaba - Suchdol. Moreover, the nearby Troja area is added to the project. Based on current bus traffic data, new tram lines serving these areas are suggested. At the final stage, the project is complemented by the new P + R parking lots and the possibilities of their use.
