Utváření hodnotové orientace v pubertě a užívání internetu / The Valuable Orientation of Pubescents

KOHOUT, Pavel January 2009 (has links)
The dissertation deals with formalization a value orientation in pubescence in a relationship with internet use. The general angle of the dissertation is theoretic, the most methods that are used are descriptive methods and partly relational methods. The general structure of the dissertation is divided to four basic chapters. First chapter defines terms of attitudes and values from the philosophic, psychologic, sociologic and pedagogic perspective. The second chapter deals with a pubescence phase, its difficulties from the viewpoint of formalization of a value orientation. The third chapter is focused on internet and there are generally mentioned eventual effects resulting from its use. The fourth chapter finally summarises the foregoing chapters with the accent on formalizing a value orientation in pubescence in a relationship with internet use.

Analýza trhu vysokorychlostního připojení k internetu v ČR / Analýza trhu vysokorychlostního připojení k internetu v ČR

Poloczek, Bronislav January 2011 (has links)
The objective of the thesis is to provide a view of the situation in high-speed Internet connection in the Czech Republic. At the beginning we present a history of internet and describes in particular the most frequently used technology of high-speed connectivity to the Internet. This is followed by a comparison of the current supply and demand in a market of Internet connection in the Czech Republic. This study not only compare technological aspects, but takes into consideration the economic situation, government regulations and changes from 2009 as well. Finally, there is a summarization and an evaluation of the results and a reflection on possible future on a market of high-speed connection in Czech republic.

M-commerce jako nový fenomén nakupování / M-commerce as a new purchasing phenomenon

Dlouhá, Markéta January 2014 (has links)
(in English): Thesis deals with the phenomenon of m-commerce. History section briefly describes the evolution and significant moments for further development of this segment and its subsequent adaptation. It also discusses the types of transactions that are carried out through mobile devices and also about technologies that allow for a gradual transformation of these devices into multifunctional objects. The fourth chapter deals with the evaluation of practical research, which was carried out by me. The research was focused on the typology of purchases that are realized by Czech users through their mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) in relation to mobile smartphone platform, which they own.

'Better' regulation through social entrepreneurship? : innovative and market-based approaches to address the digital challenge to copyright regulation

Richter, Wolf R. January 2010 (has links)
After the initial excitement about the Internet as a space outside of governmental control has evaporated and courts in several states have applied national laws to ‘Cyberspace’, there is now a consensus among scholars that regulators have in principle the authority and capacity to regulate the Internet. Nevertheless, the application of the established tools of regulation - legislation and adjudication - to the current challenges to copyright regulation posed by the Internet has proven to be ineffective and produced undesirable side effects. Although market self-regulation has been suggested as a more efficacious approach to regulating the Internet and has proven effective in content regulation and Internet governance, the market has so far been unsuccessful in providing an effective and efficient remedy to the challenges to copyright regulation. The purpose of this thesis is to examine a novel approach to regulation and analyse its benefits and limitations. The novel approach defies the conceptualisation as co- and self-regulation, but introduces the solution from outside the regulated environment through entrepreneurship and innovation, and relies on the forces of the market to become effective. In this thesis, I analyse the regulatory systems implemented by two private organisations, Noank Media and Creative Commons, in China’s reportedly ineffective copyright law environment and find that their market-based and innovative approach to regulation can be understood as a form of social entrepreneurship. Social enterprises have been claimed to deliver social goods more effectively and efficiently than governmental intervention, because they are said to rely on local knowledge, to be driven by the demand of the stakeholders, and to be focused on social value creation. Based on quantitative and qualitative fieldwork with Noank Media’s and Creative Common’s stakeholders in China I analyse to what extent these two enterprises managed to successfully leverage the assets of social entrepreneurship. I conclude that while the novel approach has demonstrated the potential to produce more effective and more efficient regulation, it does not automatically result in Better Regulation. Further efforts are required to ensure participation, transparency, and public accountability, and to avoid regulatory fragmentation.

Mezinárodní internetové právo a příslušnost soudu v internetových sporech / International Internet Law and Jurisdiction in Internet Related Disputes

Nováková Krajcová, Barbora January 2013 (has links)
© JUDr. Barbora Krajcová Mezinárodní internetové právo a příslušnost soudu v internetových sporech ABSTRACT The aim of this dissertation thesis is to provide an analysis of International Internet Law from an electronic commerce and, in particular, procedural law perspective. The author focuses on questions relating to jurisdiction which are, according to the author's opinion, specific and controversial to electronic commerce cases. Other questions of procedural law, such as, for example, recognition and enforcement of judgments, are not analyzed in this thesis, since the author does not see any specific issues with these questions in connection with electronic commerce. The Chapter No. 1 in the theoretical portion of this dissertation thesis refers to internet as medium operating electronic commerce. The Chapter No. 2 reflects key and basic terms, contains, inter alia, definition of electronic commerce. However, this thesis analyses questions of jurisdiction the Chapter No. 3 analyses also substantive law relating to electronic commerce and the basic terms used throughout this thesis. Due understanding of substantive law (from an EU law perspective; the e-commerce directive and from an international law perspective; the UNCITRAL Convention on Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts) its...

Propagace elektronického obchodu / Promotion of E-commerce

Sekanina, Petr January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is focused on proposals of promotion specific e-shop. The purpose of this thesis is to design such forms of promotion which are going to be effective and accessible even for smaller and starting e-shops. In the theoretical part I am introducing common knowledge needed for understanding the e-shops and internet marketing topics, then I analyze current state and position on the market and finally I evaluate separate forms of promotion including suggestions for their use by this selected e-shop.

Multihoming with ILNP in FreeBSD

Simpson, Bruce January 2016 (has links)
Multihoming allows nodes to be multiply connected to the network. It forms the basis of features which can improve network responsiveness and robustness; e.g. load balancing and fail-over, which can be considered as a choice between network locations. However, IP today assumes that IP addresses specify both network location and node identity. Therefore, these features must be implemented at routers. This dissertation considers an alternative based on the multihoming approach of the Identifier Locator Network Protocol (ILNP). ILNP is one of many proposals for a split between network location and node identity. However, unlike other proposals, ILNP removes the use of IP addresses as they are used today. To date, ILNP has not been implemented within an operating system stack. I produce the first implementation of ILNP in FreeBSD, based on a superset of IPv6 – ILNPv6 – and demonstrate a key feature of ILNP: multihoming as a first class function of the operating system, rather than being implemented as a routing function as it is today. To evaluate the multihoming capability, I demonstrate one important application of multihoming – load distribution – at three levels of network hierarchy including individual hosts, a singleton Site Border Router (SBR), and a novel, dynamically instantiated, distributed SBR (dSBR). For each level, I present empirical results from a hardware testbed; metrics include latency, throughput, loss and reordering. I compare performance with unmodified IPv6 and NPTv6. Finally, I evaluate the feasibility of dSBR-ILNPv6 as an alternative to existing multihoming approaches, based on measurements of the dSBR's responsiveness to changes in site connectivity. We find that multihoming can be implemented by individual hosts and/or SBRs, without requiring additional routing state as is the case today, and without any significant additional load or overhead compared to unicast IPv6.
