Intranet é uma tendência da tecnologia baseada na Internet. É uma parte da linguagem de negócios que possui velocidade vertiginosa, contribuindo de forma competitiva para o mercado produtivo. Encontram-se pesquisas na área de comunicação empresarial, comunicação de massa, entre outros assuntos relacionados às TIC, porém, muito poucos relacionados especificamente à comunicação interna mediada pela Intranet no setor de hotelaria. Assim, na presente pesquisa, apresenta-se um estudo exploratório, no qual é abordado, a partir de um referencial teórico, o cenário da comunicação empresarial nas organizações e a relação com organizações prestadoras de serviços, em especial, os hotéis. The Intranet system is an Internet-based technology trend. It is part of the business communication that is spreading out quickly, this way contributing to the production market in a very competitive way. There irs available a numer of research in the business communication area, mass communication area, among other TIC-related subjects. However, few of them are specifically related to the internal communication mediated by the Intranet system in the hotel sector. In this research therefore an exploratory study is presented, dealing with the business communication scenario in the organization and its relationship with the service companies, specially hotels, from a theoretical perspective.
