Diploma thesis deals with change of heating source for a block of flats with aim to reduce heating costs. Thesis contains calculations of energy requirements of house, including requirements for heating and domestic hot water preparation. Several ways of heating by a heat pump were designed based on the calculated values. Each variant of the designed heating system is compared with current operational costs. Possible cost economies and maximum value of investment costs of the heating system were assessed

Es erfolgt ein ganzheitlicher Vergleich der Systeme Luftwärmepumpe und Sole-Wasser-Wärmepumpe für ein Bestandsgebäude. Für die Bewertung der Umweltfreundlichkeit bzw. Klimaschutzwirksamkeit werden die CO2-äquivalenten Treibhausgasemissionen (THG-Emissionen) und der nicht-erneuerbare Primärenergiebedarf (KEV) der Systeme bilanziert. Für den fairen Vergleich werden Systeme mit investkostengleichen Gesamtinvestitionen gebildet, indem die Luftwärmepumpe zusätzlich um eine PV-Anlage ergänzt wird.

El adjetivo del articulo tiene como objetivo la evaluación de un análisis comparativo del costo de inversión de las PTAR ubicadas en la cuidad de Lima que son consideradas las más importantes a nivel nacional por la función clave que ambas tienen en dicha cuidad de descontaminar las aguas residuales producidas, este articulo científico busca analizar si los cos-tos de inversión están directamente proporcionales con los caudales de ambas PTAR y también hacer un análisis de los impactos que ambas infraestructuras pudieron llegar a causar teniendo en cuenta los dos tipos de impactos existentes que son los negativos y los positivos. / The adjective of the article has as objective the evaluation of a comparative analysis of the investment cost of the PTAR located in the city of Lima, which are considered the most important at the national level due to the key function that both have in said city of decontaminating wastewater. produced, this scientific article seeks to analyze whether the investment costs are directly proportional to the flows of both PTAR and to analyze the impacts that both infrastructures could cause, taking into account the two types of existing impacts, which are negative and the positives.

The growth of population and business during the rapid urbanization process in the twentieth century has generated significant demand for transportation. As the demands have grown, road and air transportation are suffering from significant congestion and delays. Continuing expansion of highways and airports has become both expensive and difficult, along with not being able to provide adequate solutions to the growing congestion. One alternative, which is being pursued by many countries, is to invest in efficient high-speed rail networks to meet the pressing demand for mass passenger transportation. This alternative is also one that may have beneficial impacts by reducing energy consumption and alleviating some of the environmental concerns. But to make these infrastructure investments, governments need to make difficult decisions due to the complexity of the industry and technologies involved. This thesis examines decision making by government for such investments. In order to carefully study the industry, we use a two part approach. First, we examine the HSR industry supply-chain. We create a detailed taxonomy of the industry supply-chain and highlight various aspects of the advanced technologies being used, the sophisticated multiproduct nature of the firms, and the diverse international location of the companies. Second, we gather information on all the international HSR contracts between 2001-2011. These contracts enable us to examine business strategies pursued by the major HSR trainset suppliers and component manufacturers, insights into the size of the orders and type of trainsets being delivered, and the formation of partnerships and collaborations to meet the complex demands imposed by Governments when they invite bids for these expensive projects. A detailed examination of the supply-chain shows that the core technologies and competencies are highly concentrated in those countries which historically have had high demand for high-speed rail. Germany, Japan, France, for example, have the highest number of trainset and component suppliers. In more recent years, South Korea and China have emerged as the new frontiers of trainset and components suppliers. This implies that countries who are outside of this group are highly dependent on either importing these technologies and investments or make a concerted effort to develop them via partnerships and technology transfer agreements. Our examination of contracts shows that the size of HSR investment order is important for both business and government strategy. The order size determines the extent of domestic content and production. While many components will inevitably be imported, a larger order size may allow for various components to be manufactured domestically. Order size also appears to influence the nature of partnerships among the firms in the industry. We observe a growing number of HSR investment partnerships among trainset suppliers over time, possibly due to the need to pool risk in these highly complex and uncertain investments, as well as the changing competitive dynamic of HSR markets.

This thesis solves the problems of efficiency of investment injected into the reconstruction and the new building. The existing construction with its planning conception and technical solution defines clearly the edge conditions which depends on the rang of the reconstruction. But on the other hand the architectural solution of the new building is determined by the size and shape of the area. And in addition to that i tis necessarity to také into account also the costs of removal of the existing building. In the first part of the thesis the advantages and disadvantages of both variations are compared as well as the factors affecting their prices and then also the problems of the budgeting and the legislation applying to this subject. The second part of the thesis solves the question i fit is more advantageous to use the existing building of the basic school in the vallage of Hrubá Vrbka and to convert it into the community centre for seniors or if it is more advantageous to pul lit down and build a new building which will correspond with its character to the planned utilization. The costs of both variations are expressed numerically in the detailed expenditure badget. The return of investments is calculated, the comparison of both variations is given in the conclusion.

This master’s thesis deals with design of different variants of heating and warming of hot service water for holiday building (year-round weekend house, made of bricks). After calculations of the design heat load and heat requirement for heating and warming of hot service water for different types of operations the suitable heat sources are chosen. For heat sources the general design of heating is made. In the end the thesis includes economical analysis for each variant in view of investment and operating costs. The most suitable heat source is chosen from the results of analysis.

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the investment of apartment house and decide whether to sell or rent its housing units. The investment will be assessed in two different locales, Luhačovice and Brno-Žabovřesky. The issue is solved by comparison of market value, determined by three basic approaches of market valuation, the market value based on income approach and investment costs. The market value of housing units is the result of a weighted avarage method cost, comparative and income approach. The market value based on income approach is determined from net operating income, capitalization rate and the trend growth / decrease. Investment costs are based on the detailed budget. The results are analyzed in selected methods of financial planning such as net present value, internal rate of return and payback period. Part of the calculation of the financial planning are cash flows that are adjusted by projected annual growth trend.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to elaborate alternative designs of the Dětkovice sewer network. The first part deals with reasons of this work and the area of interest. In the next part the thesis deals with describe of current condition and proposed alternative designs. Furthermore, the economic assessment of alternative designs is elaborate.

The topic of this diploma thesis is cost analysis of heating sources in passive houses. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and focuses on basic concepts of passive house, renewable energy sources, heating sources, economical indicators. In the practical part there is cost analysis of chosen heatig sources of model house. Result of this thesis is evaluation of design options and optimal solution.
