The problem of this study is two-fold: (1) to determine the nature and extent of juvenile delinquency in Montague County, Texas, for a five-year period from 1942 to 1946, inclusive; and (2) to ascertain the factors which contributed to juvenile delinquency during this period.

It is the purpose of this study to determine the identifiable causes of delinquency among children of elementary age in Gainesville and to make proposals for more effective youth services. To do this an analysis will be made of the possible sources and causes of delinquency, a modern educational approach, and the relation between the two.

The problem of this thesis is three-fold: (1) to determine what social workers, officers of the law, and leaders in the field of education believe about juvenile delinquency; (2) to study the backgrounds, personalities, and criminal records of one hundred girls committed to the Texas State Training School at Gainesville, Texas, to determine the major factors in their delinquency; and (3) to make recommendations that may be helpful in meeting the problems of youth.

The purpose of this problem was: (1) to study the background of the high school boys of Beaumont, Texas, both those who come under the classification of juvenile delinquents and others that do not fall under this classification; (2) to find how the boys are using their leisure time; (3) what they would enjoy doing if the opportunity was afforded them; (4) to propose recommendations for an expanded recreation program of the City of Beaumont, Texas.

The purpose of this study is to discover the spatial distribution of adjudicated delinquents and to analyze the relationship of these delinquents to a distribution of other attributes of population aggregates. Specifically, this study focuses on the relationship in Fort Worth between the social and economic data of a specific zone. Chapter I and III of this study discuss previous ecological studies and their findings. Furthermore, possible restriction to previous studies are brought out and the design for this study is developed. Chapter III presents the methodology design used in the project. Chapter IV and V present findings of this study and discuss implication drawn from these findings. Moreover, statistically significant results are explained with regard to present sociological knowledge and future research.

The object of this study was to find out what pattern juvenile delinquency follows in small towns and rural areas.

The question arises, how are the homes in the Lisbon School District contributing to delinquency? The answer to this question is the problem for this study.

The purpose of this study is two-fold: (1) to determine the casual factors of delinquency which are the responsibility of the school, and (2) to discover possible procedures for combating delinquency, so far as it is immediately possible, in the Cleburne Public School System.

It is the purpose of this study to determine to what extent the present educational program in Dallas, Texas, is meeting the problem of juvenile delinquency. To determine this, an analysis will be made of the types of conduct deviations of juveniles, of modern educational psychology, and the relation between these two things.
