Visando compreender as características juvenis inseridas no contexto digital dos jovens residentes no Norte do país, pretendemos, nesta pesquisa, verificar se os jovens universitários, na faixa etária de 17 a 29 anos, da Universidade Federal do Acre - UFAC, estão utilizando as tecnologias digitais aliadas a convergência digital e a interatividade, objetivando traçar o perfil digital desse universitário. A pesquisa foi realizada na cidade de Rio Branco - Acre. Para delimitação do perfil digital, foi necessário conhecer a história do estado, suas características culturais, demográficas e midiáticas, pesquisar o universo da população denominada de juventude acriana e distinguir as gerações digitais, além de entender o funcionamento das tecnologias digitais e demonstrar como os dados foram obtidos. Concluímos com este trabalho que os jovens universitários estão vivenciando a juventude digital, onde os aparatos tecnológicos fazem parte do cotidiano e do modo de vida / The Digial technologies are increasingly presente in today's society due to globalization. Digital inclusion and the experience in virtual worlds are part of the current situation of the development of networks. To understand the juvenile characteristics inserted in the digital context of young people residing in the North, we intend, in this research, verify that the university students, aged 17-29 years of the Federal University of Acre - UFAC are using digital technologies combined with digital convergence and interactivity, aiming at developing the digital profile of this university. The survey was conducted in the city of Rio Branco - Acre. For definition of the digital profile, was necessary to kwnow the history of the state, its cultural, demographic and media features, search the universe of the population called acriana youth and distinguish the digital generations, and understand the workings of digital technologies and demonstrate how the data were obtained. We conclude with this work that the university students are experiencing the digital, where technological devices are part of the daily and the way of life
