Darbe nagrinėjami namų arešto reglamentavimo teoriniai ir praktiniai aspektai Lietuvoje bei pasirinktose užsienio šalyse. Atsižvelgiant į tai, kad kai kuriose užsienio valstybėse namų areštas suprantamas ne kaip kardomoji priemonė, bet kaip alternatyvi bausmės forma, darbe aptarta šių abiejų sampratų specifika bei reglamentavimas. / The work analyses theoretical and practical aspects of bail in Lithuania and selected foreign countries. Considering that, in certain foreign countries house arrest is understood not as bail, but as an alternative form of punishment, the work discusses specifics of both concepts and their reglamentation.
