Abstract I believe that everyone have the right to understand and be understood. It doesn´t matter if you are an immigrant, suffer from dyslexia or just don´t like to read. In this study I test the difference between a normal written and an easy-to-read routine. I want to know if there is a way to improve a routine in such a way that even people without pre-understanding can comprehend the content. Routines are an important part in many organisations. Staffroutines in nursinghomes don´t exist just to ensure that caretakers are being taken care of in the right way according to the rules and wishes of the organisation. They also exist to make the work with people who suffer from dementia easier for the staff. Routines are in other words very important. Today, routines are written in a very technical language with many words that are hard to understand. They are especially hard to understand for people who doesn´t have pre-understanding of the subject matter. And this is what I am aiming to improve, because everyone has the right to understand. / Abstrakt Jag anser att alla har rätt att förstå och förstås. Det spelar ingen roll om du är nysvensk, lider av dyslexi eller helt enkelt inte tycker om att läsa. I den här rapporten undersöker jag skillnaderna mellan en normalt skriven och en lättläst rutin. Jag vill ta reda på om man kan förbättra en rutin så att även människor utan förförståelse kan förstå dess innehåll. Rutiner är en viktig del i organisationer och företag. Personalrutiner på demensboenden existerar inte bara för att försäkra vårdtagarna om att de blir omhändertagna på rätt sätt enligt företagets regler och önskemål. De existerar också för att underlätta för personalen i arbetet med de dementa. Rutiner är med andra ord mycket viktiga. Idag är de skrivna på ett avancerat fackspråk och innehåller många ord som är svåra att förstå. Speciellt svåra är de för personer som inte har några förkunskaper i ämnet. Det är detta jag vill förbättra, för alla har rätt att förstå.
